I went to Phu Ket, a Thai cuisine restaurant, on the southwest corner of Arizona and Ocotillo. They had literally over 100 menu items to choose from. Their dishes were mostly inspired by Thai heritage or by coconut, like their coconut ice cream. Most of their menu items ranged from seven to twelve dollars, with a 10% discount for people who pay in cash. All of their dishes sounded really good or really interesting but I got just two of them. The first dish I got was their Tom Yum soup which is a hot and sour soup with Thai spices, mushrooms, scallions and cilantro with a choice between Chicken, mixed vegetables, tofu, shrimp, I choose the chicken. The aroma of the soup was truly mouthwatering, the taste was a bit odd to someone who has never tried the soup before but it actually was pretty good. The other dish I got is called Pad Woon Sen; a truly wonderful dish. It consists of stir-fry transparent noodles with choice of meat and a mixture of fresh vegetables and egg. This dish was so good that even after I got full I just kept on eating it. I would highly recommend these two dishes if one does go to Phu Ket. Phu Ket is a wonderful place to open up to new experiences. It was also a good place to find a good meal at a fair price. The restaurant had that classic Oriental fell inside. Its service was fast, friendly and helpful. Ranked it would get a three or to three and a half stars out of five stars. I would really recommend it to anyone who wants to be adventurous and try...

The Green Curry is another standout, featuring a velvety coconut milk base infused with aromatic Thai basil, tender chicken or tofu, and just the right amount of heat. If you love spice, their Drunken Noodles are packed with bold flavors, featuring wok-fried wide rice noodles with fresh chili, garlic, and Thai basil.
For appetizers, the Crispy Spring Rolls are light and crunchy, served with a sweet chili dipping sauce that adds just the right touch of sweetness. The Tom Yum Soup bursts with lemongrass and citrus notes, making it a comforting yet refreshing starter.
What truly sets Savor Thai apart is the attention to detail in every dish. The meats are always tender, the vegetables crisp and vibrant, and the flavors perfectly balanced—whether you prefer mild or extra spicy. Their portion sizes are generous, ensuring you leave satisfied, and the presentation is beautiful, making every meal feel special.

Read moreThe food was quite good, but the service really disappointed us. I was with my 17-month-old, and while we had a water bottle for him, he prefers drinking from a cup when we’re out. We asked for a cup of water with a lid and straw — something we usually do at restaurants — but the staff was reluctant, saying he might spill it. That felt really unkind and unnecessary.
As a vegan, I always make sure to confirm my food is prepared accordingly. I asked twice just to be sure, but the server seemed irritated when I did. Then, when my son got fussy, we packed up our main course to go and asked for the check. Since we barely ate there and didn’t appreciate the service, we left little to no tip.
To top it off, the server confronted us about the tip and said, I have a kid to feed too. That felt completely out of line — especially after refusing something as simple as water in a cup for my child. The food was good, but sadly, the attitude ruined...
