BoSa Donuts — Restaurant in Chandler

I love to write reviews about great experiences at places I visit. If I dont like any of the places, I simply dont return. But today I witness the most unsanitary act ever, especially insight of a pandemic the world is currently trying recover from! What I watched would not be acceptable in 2017 pre-pandemic. I walked into the donut shop today 4/3/21 @approx 5:18pm. There was a young lady in the lobby sweeping with a blue shirt on. The young lady in the back with a red shirt on was busy prepping a pick up order, she said. When the young lady sweeping saw a line forming she quickly put the broom down, but without washing her hands she picked up a previously used glove sitting on the half empty glaze donut tray and wiggled her dirty hands back into the glove. It was probably the nastiest thing anyone would want to see. She asked me with a huge smile, how she could help me? With UTTER disgust she could not witness under my mask, I walked out! We really trust that employees at restaurants follow the CDC and state sanitation guidelines to protect our food against becoming contaminated and prevent us all from becoming sick. The sad part for me is.. I have over 200 pts at this location, which meant I have brought quite a few Donuts from this place. Unfortunately I'm abandoning those points will no longer visit this business. I really hope that the owners have the opportunity to read this review as well as everyone else. I have been a bosa (multiple locations) customer for years. I usually come in to this location in the afternoons, but I came in at 8am this morning. The owner took my order, and as she was, she was actively scolding her employee, saying, "Go to the restroom, then clock in after, not before. Clock in when you are ready to work. " I totally understand and respect that, BUT this is to be done behind closed doors, not in front of everyone. An absolute no-no!! It is very unprofessional and toxic. There is absolutely no excuse to embarrass an employee in front of so many people during such a busy time, I don't care how stressed or upset you are. We ordered a bagel with bacon egg and cheese. At first bite, we thought the bagel was stale. It started flaking, and I thought, this is not a bagel! They took croissant dough and shaped it into a bagel !!! I know inflation is an issue but that is fraud! I will never go to this...

I love Bosa donuts and I rarely write poor reviews because I know how much businesses rely on them. That being said, this incident occurred a few months ago but still makes me feel awful when I think about what happened. I actually drive to a further location to avoid the staff here. I went to this location and had a coupon with me. After ordering donuts I asked to use the coupon which upset the employee there. Maybe they were having a bad day. There was confusion with how to apply the coupon and he started to angrily get me the donut and speak to me harshly. I asked him what the problem was and he started yelling about the coupon and people were staring at us. I have never been treated so rudily in a donut shop!
