Visited on 5/29/25 around 2:15pm Order: Mango matcha smoothie w/o mango syrup Cashier: Michael (manager) Concern: too sweet and am prediabetic so I like to adjust the sugar/sweetness of my drinks, if possible.
CONSEQUENCE: NEVER COMING BACK & would not recommend to others
It was just me waiting to be serviced; it was not busy at this time. Depending on where you go nowadays, you can't expect a greeting when entering an establishment. Of course, no welcome. As I waited to order, his expression showed annoyance, and I felt he did not want to or be willing to take my order- almost as if he wanted me to order on the kiosk. As he approached and asked what I wanted, tone was cold in manner. I ordered, as usual, and he stated he cannot make it.
Given responses by Michael: -Policy won't allow that specific drink to be modified (which I can understand) -"I can make it but I am not and if I do it for you then we'd have to do it for everyone" (issue here is I felt he was trying to taunt me by repeatedly stating he could but wouldn't- this was very bad service manner in my opinion. On top of that, there wasn't anyone else waiting for their drinks-I refrained from saying anything more, but I'd be more aware of his comment if there were others waiting behind me to order)
-others may have made it but that's up to them but it shouldn't be made that way and the owner may have made it but that's bc he is the owner.
-he told me to go to Starbucks and get the matcha from there (most dismissive remark I have EVER heard from a servicing establishment) instead of wanting my continued loyalty as a customer- to tell me to go somewhere else is baffling. If I was the owner, I would reprimend and make sure he takes a course on quality customer service. Isn't this place mission based on the 5 G's, one being good people and good service and I did not GET THAT.
Their website states they hire r&d to "ensure uniqueness to their product development to differentiate from competitors and provide initial and ongoing training, auditing, and supervision to ensure the best quality..." this is obviously not the case. To me, the drink is unique to me and all I wanted was the syrup to not be put in bc it makes it less sweet. It's refreshing for me and yet he refuses to do that. If they want to stay true to their mission, then I believe it should be acceptable to make my drink. There probably isn't any training going on besides making the drinks.
-he told me to try something else and some drinks can be less sweetened but I've had a few drinks from here and it's nothing special. However, this is my second encounter with this guy and the first was just as upsetting. He gave me crap the first time about my order but the owner allowed and took my order. When he saw that my order was taken he walked away, patted the owner on the shoulder like "good luck with that." Very rude and disrespectful.
Overall, I will not be back unless the owner changes the manager or managers attitude or disposition. I...
Read moreA few months ago, we drove by the place and there was a sign that it was coming soon, and I remembered that my son was really excited about it. Today I was on my way to Daiso and saw that they were now open. Hubby and I went to try since we were there. I have no idea who they are and have never been there before. I took a look at the menu and they all sounded yummy. I decided to get the dragon fruit yakult smoothie and hubby got the kumkuat lemon tea with no sugar and lychee jelly. He usually gets no sugar in all his drinks, but regretted that he did so for this one, because he said it was too sour. He kept saying thank God at least the lychee jelly were sweet and that it made the drink better. We also got their original waffle with cream and boba dip. I had no idea what that meant but I got it to-go and came home to try the waffle with the dip. Their waffle was airy, light, and chewy with a hint of sweetness. Very good waffle. The cream didn't really do much for the waffle for me although I must say their boba are very good. So next time I might try their boba drinks. All their employees were very friendly and nice, although they forgot to give me the cream dip until I asked for it. On a Thursday afternoon, there was no one in there. So if you don't want to wait in line, I'd go in the off hours. I also like their screen which shows how long until your order is ready. However, it wasn't very accurate as it showed my drink was ready, but not the other items even after I already picked up...
Read moreI have been coming here since they opened and loved it everytime BUT today, 9/9/2025, I ordered a Mango Sago and it is completely UNACCEPTABLE! I found a HARD and SHARP piece that looked like part of a mango seed mixed into the drink. I had to spit it out right away and good thing I did not bite into it. If a child was drinking this, the child could have choke and end up going to emergency. This is very DANGEROUS because the piece is so sharp! For a huge brand like Happy Lemon, such carelessness in preparation is unacceptable. On top of that, I ordered Mango Sago at 6:30pm, which is not late at all. And they told me they run out of Sago! So what is the point of the name Mango Sago? I have to pick Jelly instead. Should have named it Mango Jelly huh? Also, there was no customers at all in the store when I come to pick up so I guess they were not busy at that time. Such a very disappointing experience and I highly recommend the owner to train their employee again to be...
