Tucked into a strip mall off Alma School and Chandler Heights, but worth giving them a shot. Welcomed and seated around lunch time on Saturday and started to look over their menu while our waitress got drinks. Regular menu looks pretty comprehensive (a variety of rolls, sushi, sushimi, bowls, etc), but we opted for their lunch specials. We had both the teriyaki chicken Bento box and the teriyaki beef bento box - the chicken was tasty, but the beef was kinda tough. The bento box has 3 fried dumplings, side salad, California roll and the teriyaki - plenty for lunch. I opted for the 2 sushi rolls (8 piece shrimp tempura & 8 piece crunchy California roll) - again, plenty for lunch. Crunchy cali roll was good and a little better than the shrimp tempura roll; not much shrimp tempura in the roll. The place remained consistently busy while we were there but didn't seem to impact the service. The sushi rolls were good, but just not as big or as flavorful as I've had at other sushi places, but the prices seemed more reasonable. Worth giving the a try if you like good sushi, but dont want to spend...

Now let’s talk about the food—every dish was a standout. From the first bite, it was clear that quality and freshness are top priorities here. The sushi was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared, each piece perfectly balanced in flavor and texture. I especially loved the spicy tuna roll which just melted in my mouth.
One of the highlights of the meal was the ramen—rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and tender slices of pork that pulled apart effortlessly. It was comforting and deeply satisfying.
Even dessert didn’t disappoint. I tried the matcha ice cream, and it was the perfect ending—creamy, slightly bitter, and not overly sweet. A beautiful way to finish off a fantastic meal.
Overall, this restaurant is a gem for anyone who loves Japanese cuisine or wants to experience it done exceptionally well. I’ll definitely be...

I absolutely love the food at Nozomi – it’s always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Every bite is packed with taste, and you can tell they really take pride in their ingredients. No complaints on the quality of the food itself!
That said, I do have a small personal quirk – I like to make my own sauce for sushi, which involves lemon and a couple of other ingredients. I sometimes feel like I’m bothering them by requesting additional slices because they only give you 1-2 thin slices each time. I totally understand the need for portion control, but it’s a bit of a minor inconvenience when I’m trying to enjoy my sushi just the way I like it.
Overall, it’s a great spot for sushi, and the food never...
