3/18/23: As we pulled in Saturday around 4:30, we realized we had been here before (we try to go someplace new every week) but then we thought, what the hell, we remembered it being good the first time. Well, this second visit was just as good!

We opted to sit inside and enjoyed sitting beside the large fish tank. Our server, Daniel, was pulling double duty as the bartender, and he did a wonderful job juggling both jobs. We each ordered a different drink and although I thoroughly enjoyed the French Pear, I must admit my sister's Sidecar was slightly better (more sweet vs tart).

The olives were served warm, the charcuterie board was plentiful, and the meals delicious. The starters filled us up that neither of us finished our meals, but there was no way we were passing up the tiramisu this time.

Oh. Em. Gee. It was huge! Light, airy, sweet, mouth-watering goodness.

If you have not eaten at Pesto's, you have to give it a try. FYI that they do take reservations and on a Saturday evening, if you eat around 6 o'clock, you may want to make a reservation. It started to really fill up when we were leaving; even with the large patio.

2/28/21: Craving Italian food & Pesto's did not disappoint. It was a long dinner (two hours) but it was worth it. The place was busy (arrived about 5:30 Saturday) but we were seated outside quickly & our server Brittany attended us soon after. The patio is a pretty nice size although the table for two was a bit small - but luckily the dirty dishes were taken away promptly so things weren't too crowded. They have shades to help keep the sun from shining in your face & gorgeous heat lamps to keep you warm. We started off w/ a couple cocktails that were fan-tabulous & some bacon wrapped dates. Almost ordered garlic bread but fought the urge - good thing, too, because the meals were large & who could say no to dessert?! The bread that did come w/ the meals was so soft & yummy we almost caved in & ordered garlic bread then & there. Now that I'm home I'm wishing we did. Ah well, gives me an excuse to go back. The food didn't come out quickly so if you're in a hurry, I'd suggest you chill out a bit & enjoy the ambience. What's important is that the food & cocktails tasted wonderful & I would highly recommend checking out Pesto's. We've eaten at a lot of Italian restaurants & Pesto's is definitely one of the best places...

I want so badly to give this place more stars. My son LOVES the calamari and that’s what keeps us coming back. But every time we come the kitchen takes FOREVER... so much so that I dread coming here, even with the amazing food and happy hour. Tonight we were celebrating my sons birthday, called ahead to give them notice there would be 7 of us. We showed up and the table was set and ready for us. Great start! Maybe this experience will blow us away! I am not sure what happened, but I saw only one server, another large party, a couple 4 tops and a few 2 tops. Way too much for one server. The server assistant was awesome and helpful. Anyways, first time he stops by, knowing how every thing has always taken ages, I asked him to put in the calamari and we’ll start with waters. He brings the waters out and I had him put the kids food in first, again, to get a head start. After that, he comes back and asks if the adults want anything to eat/drink. We order drinks, and 20 minutes goes by before we see him with our drinks and to take our order. I keep checking my watch, and the kids food doesn’t get there until we have been seated an hour! We probably ordered this in the first 5 minutes we were there! I finally ask what the heck is going on, and they manage to get our food out relatively quick after that. We devour it, of course and then FINALLY get asked if we want another round of alcohol beverages by the server assistant. The whole ordeal took an hour and a half from start to finish. Way too long for 4 squirrelly kids. I am in the industry and just sat there, helplessly, and watched water glasses empty, a gentleman near us had no drink in front of him at all for 30 minutes. All the while, more tables are being sat including another big top. Go on a wait! There was no manager in sight and no one else except the server and server assistant. The server felt bad, we could tell. But there was so much that could have gone differently. He was set up for failure, and IF the food was REALLY taking forever and he had put them in as soon as he should have, them he was really set up to fail. Not sure what I’ll tell my son next time he wants to come here. We would have ordered dessert if we could have known it wouldn’t take an hour like...

Pesto’s food hands down is amazing but the staff not so much. I have dealt with a waitress by the name of Karina C and her attitude and service should not be in a place like Pesto’s. Are first incident was when I called to place an order she was short and rude and when I came to pick up my order she literally said nothing to me at all as she checked me out. I chopped it up to people having bad days but I came in the restaurant with a friend Tuesday and she was our server. It took her about 10min to get to our table and they didn’t have many people and had three waitresses on the floor. She then takes are drink order puts my friends drink down and 5min later brought mine.. weird. We order are food and I am asking questions and she is really short, her tone was like she was annoyed and well I just picked something and was like whatever. Our food comes she never comes back to ask how things are going literally never asked, she took forever to come to the table because we wanted drink refilled. We had to waive down another server and once we did that it must of upset her because she literally did not comeback to the table until we again got the other server to ask for our check. I was trying to give $0 tip and it took $5 on her thing and when I had a question she walked away did not give me a receipt. I noticed she neglected her tables A LOT when it came to tables with only women being seated. We then ask for the receipt to the other waitress and waited another 15min and Karina did not bring someone else did who apologized for Karina and her rudeness. She was even rude to the other waitress and tried to make her clean our table off and they had a moment. Karina is a nice nasty inattentive waitress that needs more training on how to be respectful, attentive and have overall a human aspect when dealing with humans. I honestly want the tip that was never suppose to be left back and a meal for two because I spend a lot of money here and this could have been a 5star review if we didn’t have to deal with Karina and her lack of making our...

Let's start by saying the restaurant does have a quaint charm versus its outside appearance with happy hour from 2-6pm. As most can agree, food cost risen, restaurant prices are much higher and service is not as wonderful. I ordered fried calamari, charcuterie plate and wings on happy hour of which all was brought out reasonable quick yet mediocre quality. I would not order anyone of those a second time. $10 was the cost of the charcuterie plate only $7 less than the regular menu price. It came with some toast, 4 meat cuts, 2 sauces, pesto sauce and some old purple grapes. The 2 sauces made were very sweet and the meat choices were quite fatty. There is no cheese in the happy hour and if you want a cheese selection, best to skip the happy hour menu. The cheese plate cost an extra $9 on happy hour. The wings were not very tasty, again real sweet yet the manager claims no sugar is added to any dish. Doubt it! I was told to dip the ranch to mask the flavor and I just have to disagree. Did I buy ranch or did I buy wings? Let's just stop there and say skip the wings. The calamari was lightly battered, bland and lacked taste. The aoli sauce is terrible and I would just ask for marinara. Whoever is the chef should toss out the sauce recipe and start over. I ordered the clams with linguini sauce and a friend ordered the chicken saltimbocca dish. I thought the pasta was good, the clams seem like they came from a jar and the dish was extremely salty. I had high hopes for this restaurant with all the great reviews but maybe it's really for the wine and not the food. I truly don't mind paying for good food and even when I expressed it to the server and manager, I didn't feel they care to comment but replied with "I hope you enjoy your entree". Over $150 spent and disappointed.
