I heard about this place through an Instagram post & I decided to drive 20 minutes to get some quiche and some pastries. I walked in, there was a line up to the door. All the tables & spots were taken. As I was waiting in line, I asked a few patrons what their favorite item was? The lady said everything is delicious but you must try the pistachio croissant it was by far the best thing she had ever eaten. I picked up two different styles of quiches & 1 regular butter croissant & 1 pistachio croissant. As I was driving back home I couldn't help myself it all smelled delicious but I decided to take a bite of the butter croissant & It immediately took me back to Paris without the expensive plane ticket. I couldn't believe how each bite that I took was incredibly delicious. It was flaky, it was buttery, & it was soft on the inside. Before I knew it I had already eaten it all of the croissant before getting back onto the freeway LOL. Because I got two different quiches I decided to cut them in half since they were pretty big in size & have it for breakfast. Both were cooked in my toaster oven under the recommended time & once they came out I took a bite & both of them had so much flavor. I highly recommend the caramelized onion w/ bacon & the malmaison w/ herbs. It was so good!! The pistachio croissant was looking at me & I couldn't help myself I took 1/3 of it just so I could try it. That lady did not lie. It was literally the best thing I have eaten in 2025. The pistachio croissant alone is worth the 40 minute R/T drive. It was still warm too. Just like the croissant every bite was delicious. I'm so thankful for this little cafe opening up in Chandler. I hope more people will give this mom & pop a chance & enjoy what this place...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf you want to create a breakfast morning in France this is where to go. This is a charming family owned/run cafe with authentic Viennoiserie pastries, quiches utilizing imported butter and chocolate from France. Everything tastes wonderful, make it a point to try everything, nothing disappoints. Coffee and tea are from a local roastery. Their barista makes a satisfying latte to go with your pastry! And my child (who hardly touches other hot cocoa) wants their hot cocoa every time we visit and finishes it completely.
The staff are wonderfully friendly and take care to greet you. This is not a fast food āorder and goāsituation.
Lastly a couple points about this wonderful establishment! It is very popular! Their lines are long especially during their peak hours. Bring patience and expect you may have to take it to go if there is no place to sit. Donāt treat the food like itās from Starbucks, the pastries are not prepackaged they were freshly baked on site early that morning before you even got out of bed. There is no need to rewarm or toast any of these pastries unless you want to purposely ruin the pastry. If you plan on needing to feeding a large group, use the website to order ahead (just remember that around holidays they may close the order ahead feature if they are at capacity, so order ahead early) Lastly and importantly this is a family owned bakery, they love their employees and they will be closed on specific holidays like Christmas, if you are unsure of their hours, you can always take the time to pick up the phone and call them and ask about their...

Despite being open for only two weeks, they have already made an impressive start that shows with the line of people out the door. Their quiche Lorraine, full of bacon, ham and GruyĆØre Cheese, was so delicious, while the buttery, sugar-filled croissant-like pastry called a Kouign Amann offers a perfect balance of sweetness and flakiness. Accompanied by a flavorful cappuccino, this culinary experience evokes fond memories of the various cozy French cafes that I have visited over the years. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Quiches & Pies is certainly a must-visit for lovers of French cafe cuisine. I can hardly wait to go back and try the bacon & caramelized onions quiche.
On a side note: for those of you who arenāt familiar with what a quiche is or you are just curious, it is a savory, egg-based dish that's cooked in pastry, like a tart or a pie. You could describe a quiche as a light and fluffy whipped egg omelet that's baked inside a pie crust. If you want to try something new and you arenāt usually adventurous with your pallet, I would recommend starting with the Loraine
The first 4 pics are from their website because I ate the quiche so fast and forgot to take my...
