My neighborhood park. The city recently did some improvements to it but I'm not sure I understand why they took so long. This park has tennis courts, racquetball, volleyball, basketball and a partially shaded playground. It's an old park ,with established trees so lots of shade. Also a bathroom! There are 2 ramadas and several other seating areas. Plenty of green open areas, and tree-shaded area. A sidewalk twists all around it so it's great for bikes and scooters and skates. The city just moved the volleyball courts but left a giant sand pit where the last one used to be. I don't understand that. Also, the park was closed for several months, and the improvements are not that large. Why no more ramadas? It's a large park? Why didn't the entry road get fixed when it has giant potholes that can swallow you if you are...
Read moreFun place! Lots of open grass and there's quite a few picnic tables, too. There's a couple different ramadas for a party or larger get together. The sidewalk goes thru the entire park which is great for walking, biking or riding scooters! There's also a playground with two separate set ups, one for older kids and one for the toddlers. My only complaint for this park would be that since the playground remodel they now have only one regular swing, and one baby swing right next to it. There's no way for two kids to swing together 🤨 This park does have bathrooms, too, which is always a plus, however since Covid I don't think...
