Went to Parlay with a party of 7 for Sunday brunch at 1130am. 6 of the 7 of us ordered bottomless mimosas. And we over ordered on the food to share with the table and have the ability to taste many of the items. We received our first round of mimosas and continued to ask for more in which the waiter stated he was running out and needed to chill more bottles. We waited and waited after our 3rd round and around 2:30 we finally asked for a manager to come speak with us in regards to the service. The owner (finding out after) came over and spoke with us and stated that the bottomless mimosas ended at 2pm. First question that came out was did water and soft drinks end at 2pm because all of our glasses are empty not just the mimosas (see below). If we were aware and told we would have not waited and/or if told we would have ordered more with the understanding of paying which was fine. The main take away for me is the owner was very confrontational and would not listen to the customer, did not try to make it right with other options and did not realize she had a problem with several other table having empty water glasses and dirty dishes left in front of guest as they watched the NFL play offs. The customer service needs some major attention and the owner needs an attitude adjustment if she plans to be successful. You listen to the customer gather facts, understand that the customer is always right and try to make it better or you will get a bad name as a business and as a business owner.

I wanted to share some feedback from my recent visit. I drive past your place often and have watched the construction process with curiosity, so today I finally decided to stop in and give it a try. Upon arriving, I noticed no one was at the front to greet me, though I understand it was around lunchtime and things can get busy. After waiting for a few minutes, someone did let me know there would be a brief wait, and it was exactly five minutes, which I appreciated. My daughters and I ordered the green chili pork sliders, honey hot wings, and hummus nachos. I was a bit surprised that the pork sliders were two full sandwiches, which is more than I expected. While I’m grateful for the portion size, I knew I couldn’t eat that much is why I got sliders. I felt the sliders lacked flavor, particularly the pork and green chili, though the pickled onions were a nice touch. I would rate the sliders and fries about a 3/10. On the other hand, my daughter enjoyed her honey hot wings, which she rated 7/10, and her hummus nachos, which she gave an 8/10. Our server was polite, though she didn’t seem very enthusiastic about being there, which slightly impacted the atmosphere of our experience. That said, I noticed the bar and drinks were popular with many other guests, so perhaps next time I’ll explore that part of the menu.

Definitely a five star option for me. While there were a couple of hiccups, they are not worth mentioning. Any issue that was raised was quickly addressed and ownership of the mistake was taken by the staff, which is a sign of great customer service and therefore worthy of a 5 star rating. I loved the space and decor. Lots of natural light coming through every inch of the restaurant. Very well laid out with indoor and outdoor seating options. Seating was plentiful without feeling the least bit cramped. We were immediately greeted by a friendly hostess who accommodated a change to our orginal reservation by moving us indoors. The menu offered enough variety without becoming overwhelming. For those looking to enjoy a cocktail, they not only offer wine (by the glass or bottle), beer and top shelf liquor, they have a nice selection of signature cocktails. We opted for 3 appetizers (artichoke dip, Korean style egg rolls and stuffed mushrooms). Each had great flavor and an ample portion size. We also opted for 3 entrees (lemon and rosemary chicken, Parlay Burger and Southwest Mac n cheese). Not one complaint. Beautifully plated and very filling. The wait staff was super friendly, attentive and extremely professional. We will return!

The Place looked pretty nice and decided to try it as we were in the area and hungry.

Didn't realize I would be waiting almost an hour for my food and for it to be brought out cold.

When my wife and I came, we were greeted by the manager and several people walking by saying "we'll be right with you"

Ok fair enough, happens. But should have been a red flag that service assumes someone else is taking care of it.

Eventually seated, and server came by to get water order quickly.

Ok so far, got waters within 10 mins of sitting down.

30 mins go by before server came back to take food order. Ordered Greek nachos (with chicken), and pretzels.

Between that and when our food finally came, I witnessed the manager walk by several times without even bothering to check if we're good, server walked by many times and took orders for other people and brought them drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic pronto.

Eventually after being there for almost 50 mins total, food runner finally brought our food, cold and stale. Greek nachos didn't have the chicken on it and chips tasted like stale store bought chips, pretzels were tiny and cheese was luke warm. Evident that food was ready quickly and no one even bothered to bring the food. Likely situation mentioned earlier, everyone assuming someone else is taking care of it.

Had to go find the server and ask for the check. Check brought and charge for chicken on nachos was still there (no chicken on nachos brought out)

Had to go flag him down again and get that taken off.

Server disappeared and went to go ring up checks for people at the bar.

Saw him walk by and heard him say "oh shoot" as he noticed we still didn't have the corrected check (once again forgot about us)

Eventually brought us the check.

Even after realizing how bad our service was, manager never once came by to apologize or ask how things could be made right. I don't expect full meals comped and never would ask. I just want people to know this is likely the service you'll get here. I saw people arrive after us, get their food, pay and leave within the timeframe I was there and waiting for my food.

My wife and I are very patient, but several times we almost got up and left before our food arrived. Looking back, we should have just left and gone...

We don't even live in Chandler, but now I'm going to have to commute out here for dinner more often. This was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a while. The vibe was soft lighting, casual, but still could be a special occasion spot. We were after classic fare tonight, and the food was done so well that I thought about going to the kitchen to thank the team in there!! . We had the spinach artichoke dip, which had very nice size artichokes, and just the right about of cheese; which is refreshing because most places just use the leaves. No disrespect to chips, but the bread they served it with was so perfect. We each got a drink. Mine was a berry basil smash, and my husband got a moose drool beer, that even I--a beer hater, thought was outstanding. . My husband got their bacon jam and egg burger, and I stuck with the old fashioned style with bacon and American cheese, served medium, and it was actually medium! Sure, your thinking "yeah yeah, another burger," but no, it was outstanding. They mix brisket with their grind, and it was a show stopper. They pair it with my favorite type of fry, the double fried beer batter style. Also, im a ranch snob, I judge places on their ranch; and I barely got a drop on my fries, and dove in after that. In my opinion if a restaurant nails their simplest dish this perfectly, the rest of the entrees are probably standing ovation worthy. Also, the bill didn't make me want to cry at the end, which if you've been out to eat lately, you know what I mean. . The staff. Well, our server was just the sweetest, so efficent/fast, and did such a great job! As a note: I used to work in restaurants and I can say, seeing the manager, especially on a slow night, out with the team on the floor keeping plates cleared and helping the staff, was so refreshing to see. He literally took the dishes out of her hands, so she could stand their and speak to is without distraction. . I'm sure the scottsdale location is great too, but I think we will be making more stops at this chill chandler spot. Also, it's on price and the San tan 202, so convenient, and no fighting for parking. If your not going here, you are seriously...

I am not sure what has happened to this place. It use to be so good and the last couple times have been not to standard. Lat night however was the worst experience I have ever had. Made a reservation (a Tuesday) for my sisters bday. We were sat promptly yay! It was 10 mins before anyone came to take our drink order. When our waitress arrived she was a lovely girl. She stated it was her 3rd day so she was new. No big deal, we have all been there and as a person who has worked in the food industry and I currently work in customer service, I get it. I was however VERY suprised, she did not have help or another server/manager helping as we did have a table of 6. We place our drink order, a an appetizer and started celebrating. Got everything in a fine manner. Next we placed a second drink order and some more apps as everyone arrived. The drinks took like 20 mims to come. She apologized and said the bar was backed up for training. Okay, no big deal. Placed our dinner orders. Eventually the second dri KS came and she said we would get an extra one. We did not. We waited for 40 mins before our food came. Never got appetizers. We explained this and they said they would get them to us. Half the food was sent back for being not hot at all. The owner FINALLY came over grabbed the plates and took them back. We asked about the apps that never came he said ok. We still never got them. Food came back hot we continued on. The owner was always hovering but not saying anything or helping this poor girl. We did cake, sang and did presents. Then the bills came. The came back 3 times wrong, we asked the owner directly to please help her. Nothing. This girl was broken. Finally the manager just said go. I gave this girl a hug and said it will get better. The service horrible because there was no support for a waitress 3 days in!!! I will not ever be back. As someone who has been in management for many mnay years, this is unacceptable. My heart truly went out to her. She was thrown to the wolves and it was hard to watch. The fact we asked the owner MULTIPLE times to help her and nothing was done... that...
