I come to Na's Thai Cafe relatively often and, for me at least, they never disappoint! The food is always excellent and perfectly priced for the large portions you get (one $13 of veg. curry lasts for three whole meals, I love it!) I don't eat meat or egg so I've never had problems with bad meat - an easy solution for the others that did would be to order the vegetarian ;)
I love that they don't overcook the veggies, leave them with a little crunch. That's how vegetables should be cooked!! Not soggy and gross the way many Midwesterners prefer _
Their Pad Thai (minus egg) is my favorite of its kind, especially if you get the sauce for the egg rolls (some kind of sweet-ish peanut oil?) and pour it over, then top with the fresh squeezed lemon... mmm. Their vegetable egg rolls are crispy and delicious, made 100xs better with that dipping oil/sauce. And the two curries I've tried were amazing, the Panang Curry (holy crap the string mushrooms and fresh basil!!!) and the Curry Vegetable
Read moreOur dining experience was so terrible, I'm still sitting here shocked at how horrible of a time we had dining at Na's. When we arrived there were only two other occupied tables in the restaurant. The host was helping someone with a pick-up order so he said we could just seat ourselves and he'd bring the menus. We seated ourselves and because the server was busy, we grabbed our own high chair for our toddler. Eventually the server stopped by our table, at which point we had to ask for menus because we never got them. We ordered spring rolls to start, massaman curry, and pad kee mao. The food was slow to come out; the spring rolls were pretty boring without much filling and came with a syrupy dipping sauce that was way too sweet. Sadly, it was the best food we got tonight. The pad kee mao noodles can be best described as rubbery and drenched in a greasy, overly sweet and salty sauce. We could not handle more than a few bites since it was too salty. The massaman curry was very sweet and was mostly potatoes with a few pieces of dry, chewy beef. The server never checked up on us nor refilled our waters once she brought our food. Our check was never dropped off, and eventually we just walked to the front and paid instead of waiting around. While we were dining several customers came to pick up and it seemed like orders were delayed or couldn't be found and the host had zero clue what was going on. There was such a lack of service and professionalism to the entire place; at one point, all of the workers had disappeared and it was just customers standing at the host stand and the 3 tables dining. I understand Covid has made times hard for restaurants but I'm not sure if this place ever really had it together; sadly we will never go back due to our terrible experience...
Read moreContinuing our exploration of areas near the house. Have seen this place busy when stopped by Kais as few times so figured give it a try. Ordered today for lunch: Beef Egg Roll (comes with a nice oil with chopped peanuts) Chicken Fried Rice ( rice, onion, egg, and chicken lightly seasoned) Pho ( has meatballs and beef) Chicken Stir Fry (medium spice) Thai Ice Tea
We were early in so had the place to ourselves for a bit. Did start getting other customers shortly after but did allow our food to cone out really quick. Staff was very nice and checked on us regularly. Portions are large so we ended up with a meal for another day. Food was very flavorful. The egg rolls were nice and crispy on the outside and not over cooked on the inside. The Pho was HUGE with sauces and items on the side to customize yourself. Was very tasty! My daughter loved the won to. soup and the chicken fried rice and she is picky about it. The stir fry had a great medium sauce, plenty of vegetables, and a good sized size of rice.
We will definitely be back to try...
