My Great Aunt ordered some food and I was picking it up for her. The fried rice was unseasoned with so much of it missing flavor. It was the most stall, flavorless, driest shrimp fried rice I have ever eaten. My aunt has been going there for years but whatever new management and/or transition they are implementing is definitely not working. Restuarant not worth going to any more and the staff is unorganized. The fish and fries were fine but all the food lacking in the ingredients.

After driving by this establishment for a few years, I finally decided to stop in and try it out. The food was great. The portions are even better. I ended up getting the Mongolian beef, and it was very tender and had great flavor. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will definitely be coming back in to try out some more of the menu.

What can I say. Their food is always consistently good. I have been going to this restaurant for almost 30 years since they were on Woodforest. Unfortunately can't enjoy the buffet and their full menu is not online that I can find. So I'm posting some photos of the menu last time I went in.

We’re From Out Of Town And Wanted To Try A Nice Chinese Buffet This Place Was By Far The Worst Place To Go To With The Worst Customer Service!! Our Aunt Told Us She Had Seen This Place Before And Wanted Us To Try It. We All Went And From The Beginning We Told The Waitress It Was Separate Tickets For Two Separate Families. She Told Us To Separate Upfront, So We Then Continued To Get Our Food. Out Of All The Food Only Thing I Enjoyed Was Their Shrimp & Noodles... Their Rolls Were Rock Hard & Crispy, A Lot Of Their Hot Foods Were Cold...It Was Quite Unpleasant. Throughout The Whole Time The Waitress Only Checked On Our Drinks Once Never Picked Up Any Dirty Dishes, We Got Our Own Napkins, Oh But She Made Sure To Add A Nice Gratuity When She Did Not Deserve It. She Never Even Mentioned That She Had Added It Which I Would Have No Problem Paying If She Deserved It... We Were Charged $75 For Me My Husband & 3 Kids...They Also Over Charged My Aunt And Had A Crazy Dilema Upfront With Her Debit Card...We Will Be Watching Her Debit Card The Next Few Days To Make Sure She Is Returned Her Money...When In Town We Will Not Be Returning To This Restaurant 0...

My husband and I were long time customers of China Ko we were there when they had the little restaurant before they opened the others, they had the best food before they opened up the the location on the Beltway...we visited that location in the beginning and it was awesome as the month's went by the food became horrible in our opinion. We would always order the house lo mein along with the general chicken and shrimp fried rice. I dont know if they changed cooks are recipes the lo mein would be so sweet you could not eat it and the general chicken was so overcooked and hard and to top it off would taste like lemon chicken with tons of sugar, the rice was very dry with no flavor, just last night 1/09/2020we tried again after months of not visiting hoping the food was back to the way it was in the beginning...very disappointed again!!! Chicken so dried and overcooked...m oney money wasted!!! Not speaking ill of Management because if we had issues with the good they were very good about making the order over ....sad to say I dont belive we will be visiting there again very disappointed...

Vegetarians: this place isn't very vegetarian friendly. Try somewhere else. I love Chinese buffets but this place is average at best. There were issues such as dirty floors, broken ice cream machine, the pizza was 50% crust, all three sushi options were terrible, solid Jell-O that doesn't jiggle and had a consistently remarkably close to yet completely unlike normal Jell-O, and a weak vegetarian selection. My wife and I are vegetarian (not vegan) and almost everything that we normally eat at a buffet had unnecessary meat in it. Almost everything except the green beans, white rice, and stir-fried veggies had meat in it. If I wanted to eat just salad I'd go to a dedicated salad bar like Sweet Tomatoes but I'm not a f**cking rabbit. Even the egg drop soup had chicken chunks in it for some reason, I've never seen that before. What my wife and I ate was okay and tasted fine, our kids didn't really care for what they ate, they didn't even want to finish any of the desserts. We won't be...
