Food: Dozen Pack Bagels
Service/Atmosphere: The absolute WORST service I have ever experienced at a Panera! Iâm very easy to please BUT treat me with KINDNESS, RESPECT and DIGNITY!!!
I placed an online order which was delivered unlike ever before. Usually, my bagels will be placed in several bags (sweet separated from savory) inside of a larger bag. Not today, my bagels were all thrown together in a large bag. If your customers are ordering from your store, you should take the time to ensure accuracy and safety. A person can easily stick their hand in the bag and touch my bagels. Common sense would tell you to package the items so they are not exposed.
I requested my bagels be sliced because I place them in Ziploc bags before freezing them. I order my bagels once a month and freeze them for easy storing and use as needed. Less than half of the bagels were sliced yet, it was my fault???!!! Again, once a month I order basically the same kind of bagels and ALWAYS sliced. The âmanagerâ was on the defense immediately and blaming me for the error. Despite me telling her that I know how I placed my order and maybe their system made a mistake, she denied. She was going on and on demonstrating pure frustration. I stopped her and told her that the first thing she was supposed to do as a âmanagerâ was to apologize to me for the inconvenience they caused. I has to stop working, leave my house and drive to Panera to fix this issue. The one type of bagel that I really wanted, they failed to put it in my bag. I ordered and has to pay for my everything bagel.
I was thrilled when Panera opened near my home. No matter where I travel to, I will find a Panera to visit and work from. I used to come to this location, have breakfast, work and later have lunch before going home. I have held meetings here (yes, Iâm still parked in their lot getting this review together). Iâve spent plenty of time and money at this location alone. I would do the same thing at another Panera before moving in this area. I noticed the ratings have dropped which means management is problematic. Itâs time to revamp, get rid of the cancerous cells and put new and healthy cells in. Time to rebuild.
âManagerâ L.O., you demonstrated a lack of care and consideration for your customer. Without customers, you CANNOT successfully run a business, have a job and get paid. DO BETTER!!! BE BETTER!!!

   Read moreWe went for dinner after my 5 yr old grandsonâs school program tonight...arrived approx at 8:20/8:30...at 9:10 the lights were turned off on us with no warning...luckily we had just finished eating, but were still digesting our food...& as if that wasnât bad enough, the darkness also made it difficult for my grandson to gather up his belongings. I asked an employee that had been sitting in a booth behind us most of the time during our dinner if a light could be turned on to help my grandson see better...& that if it was standard procedure to turn off lights on customers while they were still in the restaurant. His response was...âwell, it is 15 mins after our closing time.â We were stunned! The fact that not even a manager was nowhere in sight during this situation ...pretty unbelievable! We have never been treated so rudely or had such horrible customer service...a terrible ending to an otherwise amazing & fun night!    Read moreVery disappointed with my last visit. In reality none of my visits have been exceptional except for one time about a year ago. The new staff doesn't know what being in customer service means, and neither does the manager. I ordered the new Italian sandwich and they left out the ham after going over what was in the sandwich with one of their coworkers (not with me) , I came back to return/exchange it, and while there were plenty of employees on duty and even though they saw me at the front by the register no one came to attend me. The manager on duty seemed distracted even when he did attend me and very apathetic. I don't expect perfection but don't be so indifferent and dry. Lack of compassion. Employees seem mute. Very annoying. Terrible customer service now. Will not be returning. I was a regular even with the lame customer service, cause there food is good but it doesn't matter how good the food is if you lack people skills and your service sucks....
