I usually speak highly of this resturaunt, but this time I was not impressed. Got there at 11:15 a.m. and ordered 2 Beef and Broccoli lunch specials, the egg drop soup was luke warm and the crispy fried Wonton noodles were left over from the night before, the beef and broccoli portions on our plates were not divided evenly, one plate had much more than the other, and the rice was luke warm also, and it was quite some time before we were served the entree, which they usually serve before you finish your soup and eggrolls, and they were only luke warm too. I looked around at other customers tables and noticed that they seemed to have received bigger portions, you would think that they would measure or have specific guidelines for each plate. But each time I come in it seems like the portions keep dwindling. This is my go to for Chinese food, but I will start looking for another, you would think that being one of the first customers of the day would be served extremely hot food. :( I did call and talk to someone up at the register and told her that I had told the waitress that the food was ok, and it was just ok, but the lady kept telling me that everything is fresh, I know what stale wonton noodles taste like, and when the difference between warm and hot food is. I called to inform you, out of concern for the quality of your service, which I pay you for, and if you can't take the criticism, I need to take my business elsewhere. This review started at a 3 star, but after talking with the woman and her putting the phone down and waiting on other customers and letting me hear all the racket in the background I am changing my review, to a 1.5. She did not seem concerned...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe visited this restaurant last night for dinner because we wanted to try a new Chinese establishment. We probably should have just went next door to Osaka. I ordered the orange chicken with fried rice and my partner ordered the general tso's chicken with fried rice. I was surprised to learn that their dinner meals don't even come with an egg roll when they charge over $9 for each meal when most Chinese places will charge $9 or less and include your choice or an egg roll or soup. We added an order of spring rolls (2 for I think $2.25) and some egg drop soup. Our total came out to be $25 and some change which would have been fine if the food was great. My orange chicken was insanely sweet and there was way more sauce in the container than there should have been. All of the pieces of chicken were stuck together and the chicken itself was tough to eat and felt dry on the inside. The rice was probably the best part. The spring rolls were nothing impressive and average in size but I don't have a reason to complain about them. I probably won't come here again since there are other choices...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo my first time here and will be my last time. First off all when my food came out I needed a extra plate and was told they don't have extra plates and I look around and notice few people here so I'm confused why you don't have extra plate. He said they all dirty so I say will can't you have dishwasher wash one then. He said he will bring one once available. So I have to empty my plate with biscuits and put with my crab puffs. So I can have a plate to put my sweat and sour chicken on. Then I get 2 bowls of rice and one rice was old and the other fresh. Like why would u even put that on our table like that. Finally when he comes back around with a plate. I tell him don't worry but take that rice it's old. He brings me another rice fresh. By this time I'm done with my food. Never even got a refill on any of our drinks. So I was then just over it and ready to leave. So nope I won't be returning and the food wasn't good at all. But I did like the crab puffs ( fresh) my brother did like his beef and broccoli also. Ticket was $50 so not...
