I eat here about once a week with my family. Tonight, I placed a $40 mobile order that included a Strawberry Milkshake. When I started drinking it, I didn't taste or see any strawberries. My husband even tried it and agreed there weren't any strawberry. I walked inside with my receipt, waited patiently, and politely explained the issue to the cashier, James. He took my milkshake, dumped it in the trash, argued thay it WAS strawberry, and proceeded to make a new one. James was very loudly complaining about having to remake the milkshake. He loudly told his co-worker "Make sure you add extra strawberry so they know it's in there!". They did indeed add extra strawberry.... So much extra strawberry that it was undrinkable.
Look, I'm human and I make mistakes. It's possible my milkshake did have strawberry in it but was simply poorly mixed. The real issue is the way the situation was handled by James. He didn't have to be so incredibly disrespectful and rude. He didn't have to ruin the second milkshake. It really wasn't a huge deal, but he made it one. Even if I was wrong, this sort of treatment is absolutely uncalled for.
I genuinely hope James can improve his customer service skills and stop taking his bad evening out on...
Read moreI was not able to catch her name, as she was not wearing a name tag, but she was working this morning as the manager (10am). She had dark brown hair and was Caucasian. The rudest, most inconsiderate woman I have ever dealt with at a Chick-fil-A. After driving 20 minutes back to pick up an order that they had originally screwed up on, she had no respect towards me and no empathy for having messed up my order. She didn't allow me a refund either. If they had actual adults working here (not inducing child labor) than perhaps my order would have been properly given to me in the first place. Literally, the kids working here always look underage, it's quite disturbing. This Chick-fil-A is the WORST- and I'd avoid if possible. There are many others in the Chapel Hill/Durham area with much better service, better tasting food and actual legal aged adults working their restaurants. This one also does not have a "Mobile Order" designated lane, so keep that in mind, as you'll always end up waiting ages for people to get through. What's the point in utilizing Mobile Orders if you still wait in...
Read moreI just went through the drive through and there was a blonde pigtail girl that looked about 15 years old that was attempting to get our order. We were at first thrown off because she was looking confused while with the car in front of us and constantly looking over her shoulder at the building. She took our order then we handed her our card and she then told us that her card reader had just died. We said okay we will pay in cash instead so we handed her cash and she stayed silent continuing to look towards the building. Proceeding to look confused, she said “Something weird is happening, I am going to wait on a manager.” We sat there for a few minutes in silence. The manager comes out and proceeds to tell us that they charged us twice somehow (we hadn’t even paid yet) and they were going to have to do some kind of refund. This made no sense because we gave them cash. When we told the manager “Nevermind, this is too complicated, we will just leave instead”, she didn’t respond to us. Terrible service, terrible management, inexperienced staff, and unprofessional...
