Best SB in town. I'm there almost daily and most of the baristas have my order memorized--not that that is important but it is nice bonus!
The complaints in these reviews are made by weirdos because I've been coming here for years and never experienced half of these issues. I got ONE incorrect order about 2 years ago and called about it (because I was already almost home) and they offered to remake it that day for free. The incorrect order ended up being something new to me (and delicious) so I told them I'd just cash in the free drink on another day (and I did, with zero issues).
I literally just stopped to use their restroom yesterday and it was clean so idk what dirty restroom people are on about but I've not had that experience.
This is a good shop with good people in it. Everyone is nice without it feeling forced, the line rarely takes too long, it's a good location, and my order is always delicious. No notes.
I urge everyone to keep in mind that a lot of these baristas are just kids. It's likely their first job. Any policy changes or price changes you are seeing are handed down from corporate and the baristas at this location have zero control over it. Heck, most of them are just trying not to get in trouble over dress-code violations for having the wrong type of shoes. 😒 cut these...
Read moreThey do a good job with drinks, but the drive-thru is SO SLOW - and there's no way to escape the line once you're in it. There's really no reason for a six-car backup at 3:45pm on a Thursday, y'all.
Took SIXTEEN MINUTES from entering the drive-thru to getting my coffee today, including a 1m40s wait for them to take my order.
If you think "oh, I have 20 minutes before my appointment nearby, I have time to get a latte!"... You don't have the time. Not here. It would almost be faster to drive to Franklin St, find a place to park, order at the counter of THAT Starbucks, wait for your drink, and drive back to this intersection. I considered it.
Edit: December 4, 2020. I placed an order for pickup, because, as you can tell from my previous review, the drive-thru is a complete waste of time. Arrived at the store, and there are signs on both windows telling me that in-store is closed, and mobile orders have to be picked up via the drive-thru. Now, just for fun, do you think there's a refund function within the Starbucks app? Of course there's not a freaking refund function. There's not even a way to reflect a problem with an order. So thanks for stealing my $4.25, Starbucks. Can't even submit a chargeback with my credit card, because I paid...
Read moreWe were lectured by an employee for following policies suggested on the mobile app. I made a mobile order before entering the drive through, and there were several cars ahead of us at the speaker. The app indicated a 5-7 minute wait time. After giving the order name at the speaker, we waited at least the predicted time to reach the window. After waiting at the window for about 10 minutes (no exaggeration), an employee told us it is against policy to place a mobile order soon before entering the drive through and that other Starbucks would have denied our order. There should be no difference between ordering on the app before entering the drive through and ordering directly through the speaker. If there is a problem with Starbucks’ system, that is not on the customer and should be addressed internally. We received our order in total 22 minutes after placing the order.
For in-store orders, expect to routinely wait over 20 minutes. This even happens with simple orders for two or less people. The location sometimes does not even appear busy when this happens.
This store seems to be understaffed, under resourced, and...
