Chardon Tavern and Grill — Restaurant in Chardon

i really don’t like writing bad reviews but .. me and my friends came in last night and we got a seat right away even though they were full which was awesome, the manager/owner was on point and kept checking in to make sure our orders were taken.. we ordered and 3 out of 4 of our meals were served and it took an 1 hr and 15 minutes for our friends burger to come out, mind you 2 of us also had a burger. the food was good but it was so disappointing because multiple other tables were served before my friends burger came out. they made us wait and didn’t even give some sort of discount and i don’t like any free hand outs and would never ask for one but it was ridiculous amount of time for a damn burger. i understand last night was extremely busy but there is no reason 3/4 of us got to eat and one of us had to wait an extended period of time. (it is not the servers fault) like seriously? and to make our server apologize a million times to us and to subject her to that was crazy, she shouldn’t have...

The food was good but the one older bartender was extremely rude so I haven’t been back in quite awhile. She told another customer “her name” then when she came by me she said “I give fake names to people I don’t like.” Another time I was in with my husband and she came to our table to ask what we were getting and after my husband ordered, when I was in the middle of mine she interrupted me and said “is it my turn to talk now?” Like I was taking too long or wasting her time by simply saying what food I wanted. We haven’t been back since and probably won’t be, because she has been there almost every time we’ve gone prior to that as well. You expect tips but you treat customers like that for no reason, if you’re that unhappy with your job then go find one not dealing directly...

Basically got verbally assaulted by our waitress/bartender bc I (25 years old) left my wallet with my id at home and took 1 sip of my boyfriends beer while trying to enjoy a casual Tuesday night dinner. Our waitress B lined to our table to tell me that I couldn’t sip his beer and then threatened to kick me out after I said ok cool I understand no problem. She was super aggressive and angry for no reason. Then I put my MIO water flavoring in the water SHE served me and she came flying up to our table and pointed in my cup saying “What’s that in ur cup” (the water you served me???) then she accused me of having alcohol in it?!!
