âââââ Overstimulated, Underserved, and Still Hungry If youâre looking for an overwhelming sensory nightmare with a side of disappointment, this Chipotle is your destination. Walking in felt like stepping onto the floor of a chaotic stock exchangeâmusic blasting, blenders roaring, and not a single employee using their big boy or big girl voice. I had to lean over the sneeze guard like I was trying to hear a secret, just to make out a whisper about rice. Speak up! Itâs a counter-service restaurant, not a library. Then came the line. Oh, the slow, soul-crushing line. Iâve seen glaciers move faster. Every step forward felt like a victory in a war I didnât sign up for. By the time I got to the front, my appetite had been replaced with mild existential dread. And the meat? Where was it? No carnitas. No barbacoa. No steak. Just sad-looking chicken that tasted like regret. I came for flavor and left with disappointment wrapped in foil. Between the overstimulating noise, the painfully sluggish service, the timid staff, and the complete lack of yummy meat, this Chipotle deserves an award for how fast it can ruin a good mood. Save your sanityâand your appetiteâand go literally...
Read morei just went there after a long day of rehearsal with some of my fellow castmates and was very disappointed. We ended rehearsal a little late but it was an hour before (we thought) it closed so we were excited. every chipotle in the area closes at 11 and when we arrived the door also said open until 11 so we had no reason to assume otherwise. First it started with visibly seeing the employees stare, whisper, and giggle at us as we walked around the building to get inside. Once we opened the door the atmosphere was already off. Everyone seemed super annoyed to be there which is crazy considering this location has only been open maybe two weeks? When i got up to order the first employee made a comment about what we were wearing(like i said, we had just gotten out of rehearsal) but i didnt think too much of it and shamelessly plugged our musical. Each one of us continued to have one unpleasant interaction with an employee while we were trying to order our food. Lots of sighs and attitude. They could have told us from the beginning that they were closing soon but instead made us feel really unwelcome. Needless to say we will not be...
Read moreStopped into the new Chipotle in Chardon today (8/3/25) around 12:45PM, and unfortunately, it was not a great experience.
The location is new and visually appealing, but thatâs where the positives end. I waited in line for about 15 minutes, only to get to the counter and find they were down to just one or two protein optionsâno steak, nothing youâd expect at a Chipotle. For a restaurant known for build-your-own meals, thatâs unacceptable.
They also seemed to be critically understaffed, which only made the experience worse. The staff on hand were clearly doing the best they could under pressure, but itâs hard to justify this kind of poor preparation and dirty floors so early in the day.
What really stood out was the absence of leadership. If thereâs a new general manager assigned to this location, they were nowhere to be seenâand frankly, they shouldâve been. With the visible challenges around staffing, cleanliness, and product availability, this needed someone present and accountable.
I hope they get it together soon, but todayâs visit didnât...
