I'd place the order online because I live across the street. I live so close that I have probably eaten there.Two hundred and seventy five out of the last three hundred and sixty five never tried to take Anything that's in belong to me only had to get food replaced twice. The waiting area was a little more full than usual till.I sat at a table with stools instead of chairs and it had cheap little Classic bracelets and pens and what looked like businesses cards for Job. Recruitment is what I would guess, but I didn't have a chance to read it because as I went to pick it up.A manager came from the back end in a tone That implied that she caught me stealing she said you can just leave that right there and as a matter of fact i need you to sit somewhere else. It was quite embarrassing so I waited till she went over to the table and no one could hear and told her. I would like a refund because I felt that I was disrespected and didn't want to spend my money with the establishment to which she asked for the card that I paid with when I told her. I paid with a digital card online. She told me she could not. In fact, refund me and I had to just take my food. So I was forced to buy food off of an establishment whose manager treating me like a common thief. I spent a lot of money there Since moving to Charlotte Roy, but I will not spend another penny there and if they cannot refund money, that is spent with digital cards that they should not use digital card as an accepted payment form. I wouldn't expect to be disrespected like that and In establishment?That I frequent once let alone one that I eat at almost every day . Never again
Also, may I add? There were no employees only signs. They were cheap little trinkets. Set out on the table if I would have been asked. I would have said they looked like they were free. Giveaway's anyway, but I wasn't gonna take anything because I'm not a child that wants to wear a Keller for rubber bracelets and I don't need a pen. So even though I thought the stuff was free I wasn't going to take it I was. Treated like a criminal.I would guess because of Black ink.    Read more3 Stars because I have to average out many visits. This is by far THE BEST and WORST Mcdonalds around the area.
Breakfast: Breakfast is usually quick, whether drive-thru or inside. My order is typically right (A few occasional errors). The items usually taste fresh. Plus, the staff is courteous and restaurant clean. An occasional wait that is usually met with a smile and "I'm sorry for the wait."
Lunch (11-2): Similar to the morning. The restaurant is a little less clean and orders are more often to have a slight error. Plus, the idea of a receipt is sometimes forgotten. However, problems are solved and complaints handled. Unfortunately, the decline begins to happen.
Anytime after 4pm: The errors begin to pile up. Inside there is usually a wait. In the drive thru, constantly cars pulled to the side. This includes periods of time when it is not busy. It feels I am constantly waiting on a product. Cool, they are making it fresh. That would be fine if the fresh product was accompanied by other fresh or not cold products. Complaints are not handled in a reasonable matter. It's a train wreck of sorts.
DO NOT GO AFTER 8PM
Two examples: September Waited about 10 minutes for nuggets and received two half melted mcflurries. The response was that it was warm outside and ice cream melts. It was 8pm. I took my melted ice cream bc it was not worth the hassle.
January A little after 9pm. Ordered chicken strips that were made "fresh". The strips were burned and hard. I didn't get a chance to explain that the oil wss not only bad, but they were over cooked. New ones were not offered and it was hard to get a refund. I basically just got attitude...
   Read moreThey're usually at least average for McDonalds but tonight I was first treated like I had been at fault for placing the order wrong (I ordered through the app, so I can understand if I had ordered the wrong thing it would be my fault, but I knew what I ordered and the receipt confirmed I ordered what I said) So first they act like I didn't order right, so I showed her the receipt, she snatched it up and inspected it like she was working for the IRS and I was trying to cheat on my taxes. Once she confirmed I was indeed correct she was very rude and demanded I give her the food, I had already brought the food home and only returned to the store with the incorrect item. I showed her the incorrect item, she jerked it away from me proceeded to inspect the sandwich like I might somehow have still been trying to pull a fast one, then chucked it in the garbage right there at the window. They brought me a replacement sandwich which was in the wrong box, I inspected it and it looked like it had been thrown together by toddlers and there was no tomato on the "deluxe" sandwich. They brought me out slices of tomato wrapped in a burger paper.
