Tellurian Brewing — Restaurant in Charles City

Seriously, not just saying because it's my town, this place is my favorite Brewery ever. The owners are fun and their attention to detail and quality is phenomenal. The staff are all super friendly and are lovely to just hang out at the bar and talk to. The atmosphere is family and pet friendly. You don't really feel like you are in a brewery as much as you feel like you are in a gathering place. They host food trucks almost every weekend during the fair weather months and you can get pizza delivered from CRPco if you don't want the food trucks. They have done trivia nights on the past. Beer here is a nice mix of trendy to traditional. Owners are extremely personable, likeable and passionate about their craft. This exuberant couple has brought their A game and I am sure will continue to do so well in to the future. This is a small town treasure that could compete in any big city setting - St.Charles is lucky to have such a fine quality craft brewery amongst their business offerings. I liked their IPA’s but the locals went for their Basic Ale and sour beer. They even had a nice cherry cider if that’s your thing. Tellurian is an excellent brewery that is such an excellent business in Charles City. The variety of food trucks they bring in, in addition to planned events (weekly runs, musicians, and trail clean-up just to name a few) are fabulous.
