Bushido Sushi & Hibachi Charleston — Restaurant in Charleston

It was a cold lonely day in Charleston. All day I had walked around visiting stores and shopping. I even visited the lush store and bought some face wash, but after the long day I had worked up an appetite the size of the emperor himself. I had heard about this small resuraunt by the name of "Bushido". I decided to take a drive and find it. I pulled into the parking lot and exited my car. As soon as I did a thick fog set in, and the world went silent. As I approached the doors of the restaurant, I was met by two guards armed with swords. There was no way I could take them on by myself, so I spoke to them in ancient Japanese tounge. They soon realized why I had came, and they allowed my passage. I walked in through the doors, to find a large bridge, hanging inside a massive cavern, so I crossed it not knowing what to expect, but as I crossed it I soon came upon a single stone slab labeled "seppuku". I stepped onto the slab and was over come by the sight of a 1000 year old Dragon barring to me, a plate with 10 spicy tuna rolls. I knew what I had to do. I ate the first roll feeling nothing haha! For I am strong. I took on roll after roll after roll of spice. By the time I had reached roll #8 I beganto feel the breath of that Dragon boiling inside of me, i almost gave up, but i knew i must finish in order to avenge the death of my brother. So I kept eating. As I then approached the 10th roll I was ready to die and knew that if I did, it would be honorable, but I still had to trudge on. I took the final roll and devoured it. As it slid down my throat I became empowered with the strength of 10,000 gods. A samurai then appeared and bowed presenting to me a headband and as I put it on I knew I had beaten the odds and avenged my brother. I had received a power like no other, free appetizers for life. I was the youngest Victor at the age of 16. After I preceded to vomit and pass out in my car but it was totally worth it....

I have a huge conflict when it comes to this restaurant. The food is always amazing and probably my favorite but I have NEVER had good service. I would give the food 5 stars but the service 1 star. First time I was there we stood at the wait to be seated sign for 30 minutes before an employee came to seat us. Multiple employees walked by or went behind the bar and just looked at us. After we were seated the food came fast and was amazing. I figured this was just a one time thing. I went again and was seated quickly as to there were only 5 tables filled and it was a Sunday. However the server never refilled our glasses until I placed the empty ones at the edge of the table 30 minutes after being there. Our food took almost an hour to come out and again our server didn’t refill our glasses until we were finished eating but never returned to ask for boxes or the check. We were there almost 2 hours and it wasn’t busy at all. The tables around us were never cleaned and the hostess tried to seat someone but couldn’t because all the tables were dirty in our section. If I was the owner I would be highly embarrassed with the staff. Food was still excellent but i dont think it’s worth going to anymore. Sucks because it was my favorite. Maybe I will order takeout and pick it up...

We went here for my friends birthday dinner because last time we had come here we had wonderful service and the food was amazing. This time the service was horrible. I get it was a Friday night and there 6 people at my table, but to wait an hour and a half for our entree is a little extreme. Especially when people were served after us, AND finished their food and left while we were still waiting for ours. We were given the excuse more rice was being cooked. Finally getting upset with everything my husband requested just our bill and some communication was mixed up ans they canceled everyone's dinner at our table when thats not what we wanted. When the waiter brought us our checks of appetizers and drinks he proceds to tell us our food has been sitting in the window and was in the process of being dumped. Rather than losing out on that money wouldnt you think he should of started bringing our food out to us? Nope thats not the case. This was the worst experience ever. All while this was going on another group of people left because they weren't waited on at all. I get a busy night, but come on. This is a...
