This popped up on the Uber Eats options today and I was super-excited because the only thing I love more than Thai food is someone bringing me Thai food. Hubby has the impression he doesn't like Thai food, so he told me to pick something he might enjoy. I chose the 12-piece appetizer platter with chicken satay (a little dry), spring rolls (he said they were weird), crab puffs (pretty good), and stuffed shrimp wrapped in egg roll wrappers and fried (genius! The little tail sticking out as a handle is adorable and useful). I am a Tom Yum soup fanatic, but I had to give Tom Kha Gai a try, and I loved it. Delicious balance of heat and tang with the rich smoothness of coconut milk. It is a must! For hubby, I chose Beef Pad See Ew and he requested extra spicy. He got it! They don't mess around. But this is a win, would order again. Next time maybe just regular spicy. I got Shrimp Pad Prik Khing, which hubby did not like. But I did, and it was mine. The important thing is we are finding Thai foods he will enjoy. Can't wait to order again and pick different items for him to try!

Exceeded expectations. Every visit is as yummy as the last. Joy is very friendly and efficient, and remembers our previous orders Level 5 pad thai. Chefs kiss!! noodles had the right amount of soft yet chewy texture, sauce coated it just right, spice was perfect. very cosy atmosphere with piano instrumentals. low foot traffic on a weekday lunch but i’m sure they get plenty of business during peak hours. prices reasonable. portion reasonable. the orange chicken had an excellent batter, and right amount of sauce. Flavor was great, chicken was crispy and tender, but not drowned in batter like most other places do. could have doubled up on the meat to have more meat to rice ratio. Sauce was not overly sweet or thick, it coated the fried chicken perfectly. Service was fast and attentive. Food came out very promptly. they had so many more things i wanted to try. Authentic thai indeed ✨✨

I am extremely disappointed in this place! I travel to Bangkok Thailand twice a year, and I know good Thai food! I also travel a lot throughout the United States and I visit all my favorite Thai places. The only good thing about this place is her presentation was nice but the amount of food are so skimpy for the money you pay....OVERPRICED!!! Furthermore she doesn’t have the Thai condiments like the fish sauce with sliced fresh Thai chilies, the Thai pepper powder and also the Thai chilies in Vinegar. They gave me chili oil which is not what you get at an Authentic Thai restaurant! I also requested my food to be Thai hot meaning the highest level of heat. There was no heat at all in my food and That made me more disgusted! Her food is somewhat authentic and you pay too much money for very small portions. I will never go back to this place again!!! I frequent another place called Thai East fusion on international Boulevard and Thai Palm right by the Tanger mall. I am assuming that her loyal regular customers are people who have never traveled to Thailand and people who don’t know what really good authentic Thai food is! So, please take my advice and go somewhere else besides this place. I really am VERY disappointed and rather disgusted after having eaten there. ADDTIONAL INFORMATION: I forgot to mention that there is a really good Authentic Thai restaurant called BASILS downtown on King Street. Now their food is Absolutely Undoubtedly AUTHENTIC! I promise! They are on the expensive side but you will most definitely get Absolutely True and Authentic Thai Food and they have all the proper and traditional Thai condiments...including ā€œN̂ảplā thịy kįŗ”b phrikthịyā€ which is the authentic Fish sauce with fresh sliced Thai...

Read the update below my previous review of Ti Ney Bangkok:

Absolutely the best Thai food in all of the low country! I have tried around 20 so take my word for it!

Update: So I guess the names changed, yet the reviews stayed the same as Ti Ney Bangkok, and I’m ashamed that google is allowing this, because there is a major difference between the two, especially in pricing and quantity.

I ordered Pad kee Moa and my wife ordered the lunch version of the pineapple fried rice.

Let’s start with my order. It was like 16.75 for a small size of the order, however that’s for chicken, and I always get beef, but that’s an extra up charge of 3.00 making a small order of food cost 20.00. Was it good? Yes, but nothing to write home about.

My wife’s lunch special cost 14.95 because of the 3 dollar up charge to the 11.95 meal. 3 dollar up charge for 3 pieces of shrimp that they didn’t remove the tail from and they only had 3 pieces of pineapple.. Moving on to portion size… it was smaller than my small hand. I mean… you know those Chinese take out boxes, there’s the small and the large and they usually put like rice into the small ones, well the size was smaller than that. Taste wise? She said there was absolutely no taste to the entire thing. She was devastated over 14.95 for 2 bites of food that didn’t taste like anything.

From reading other reviews, I’d figure that Thailicious would start upping their portion size or decreasing their cost.. Nope.. it is exactly what the reviews said. I miss Ti...

I had an early dinner so I was the only costumer at Thailicious in West Ashley at 5 pm and the lady inside greeted me and told me I can pick my seat anywhere. I started with appetizers, curry poppers. Curry poppers is Fried Thai dumplings stuffed with ground chicken and potatoes with yellow curry and served with Thai sweet and sour sauce. I really like this appetizer and if you come here you need to try the curry poppers! For my meal, I ordered the pad woo sen with tofu. It’s stir fried Crystal Noodles with Egg, Pineapples, and Vegetables. The first initial smell ( I assumed it was fish sauce and oysters sauce) was strong but once I take a first bite I didn’t even notice it. The noodle was pretty good and I really like the amount of veggies and tofu in it. Pretty good dish an the ingredients all fresh. I really like my dinner, they served it fast, and my attentiveness server. You should check out this Thai restaurant in West Ashley! I also noticed good amount of dash door and uber eats driver came to get the orders on the pick up table. So give this place a try, order online if you like and lets support local thai restaurant in the area. I’ll be back for...
