Here goes! A few days ago I placed a catering order for my husbandās birthday- a nugget tray and a gallon of sweet tea, nothing too complicated. Today is the pickup day, so I get to this particular Chick-fil-A and pull up to the mobile order line since I placed the order through the app. I asked if I could still go through the mobile order line even though itās a catering order because I was by myself with my sleeping 2 month old son. They radioed inside and were told I had to park and come in. I then asked if I could just park and someone could run it out to me since I prepaid and really didnāt want to wake up my sleeping son. I was again told I HAD to come inside to get it.
I get inside and waited at what looked like the catering station. A woman before me gets served with her catering order, then a āmanagerā looks past me and helps the customer in line behind me. Pretty sure it was the same manager who insisted I had to come inside, but I digress. She then walks away and does not come back. At this point I have been standing there for 5 minutes and my son is now wide awake and getting irritable. I decide to get in the normal line to see if they will help me. As soon as I am up next, BOTH cashiers walk away. I looked around, thinking I was on an episode of Punked. Ashton Kutcher doesnāt appear, but after a minute or so, an older cashier finally comes back. I tell him my catering name and he simply hands me the receipt (I prepaid, remember?) and walks away.
I then stood in the area where I was originally standing and after a few minutes, someone finally brings out my order. He sees that I have my hands full with the car seat and offers to walk it out to my car for me. WHICH IS WHAT I ORIGINALLY ASKED FOR FIFTEEN MINUTES EARLIER, IN THE DRIVE THRU LINE. At this point I am livid, so I wasnāt very polite to that poor guy, but I did say thank you once I got my son back in the car and grabbed the bag and the sweet tea.
To the manager who claimed I HAD to come inside to get the order, I really appreciated the 20 minute car ride to my husbandās work with a screaming baby in the back seat. I also found it ironic when I just took the online survey, that it asked how I picked up my catering orderā¦like there was an option other than parking and going inside? Spoiler alert- one of the options was āwent through the mobile order drive thru lineā. All of this to say that I will NEVER go back to this location. However, shout out to the young girl employee working the drive thru who was empathetic and offered to walk inside and bring the order out to me herself but was told no, and to the guy employee who still ended up bringing my order to my car, even though that apparently...

This is the worst Chick Fil a. The service is slow and everything is dirty. The tables are dirty, the floors are dirty, even the employees have food all over them. The past three times I have been there it has taken in excess of 30 min to get everything I ordered. One of these times I was trying to go through the drive thru, waited 30 mins, still wasn't at the window so I pulled out of line, went inside to ask if I could finish in there faster, and left so I wouldn't be late for work when they told me it would be 10 more mins. Today when I walked in there were only 4 people in line a head of me and 6 employees behind the counter (not counting the expediter) and it still took me 30 mins from the time I walked in to even get everything. The employees are to busy chitty-chatting and playing with each other to do their job. I mean, does it really take four people to make a milkshake? No. Part of the issue is that they do not know how to restock. Everything was out - the lemonade, the large cups, the milkshake lids but as soon as they got through the line - instead of stocking, they all just start talking and playing again.
To me this all boils down to a management issue. Either these employees do not have enough oversight, aren't trained adequately, or the oversight they have should not be in that position.
I have worked around the corner from this location for 5 years now. I have gone here for lunch on many occasion. The service and turnaround was stellar but very recently it has gone downhill- into a pit. Chick fil a's are always clean and exceptional but I would now rate this location on par with a waffel house for cleanlyness and the worst McD's for service. From now on I will go the extra 5 min to the Savannah...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had to make a gmail account so I could leave a review just to brag on a few of your employees. Even though we sat in the drive thru tonight for a good 15 minutes because the kitchen was holding on filets I canāt complain. We were treated so well by Allison! She was so apologetic and made sure we left happy. Even though it looked like a complete disaster waiting at the drive thru window watching it all play out. She never stopped smiling and never let it show. They looked short handed and had a bus of kids in the lobby. While we sat there I watched her running back and fourth bagging, making desserts, and running out orders. When I say running I mean it! She was literally sprinting back between handing out orders to go bag the next one to hand out. You donāt get service like this next door at McDonalds!
The gentleman Mike in the mornings when I come is amazing as well. He is always so polite and Iāve honestly never been treated so well by a fast food worker in my life. He always holds a conversation with me and is so genuine. I donāt know how he can be so upbeat and polite when itās freezing outside. He brightens my whole day first thing in the morning.
I donāt know how you do it but you guys pick top shelf employees. They are the reason I will continue to come back over and over again! I donāt mind waiting on fresh food when you have employees that actually appreciate you...
