Giovanni's Pizza — Restaurant in Charleston

Tried placing an order by phone. When answered was asked if I could be put on hold, I answered yes... ten minutes later still no response so I hung up. Constant busy when I tried calling back so I figured I'd just drive over. It was clearly a very busy night. Gentleman on the register was courteous and prompt. I sat down to wait. Chaotic. While I was there, I figured out what has happened with my phone call, smiling here... the phone rang, young man picked it up, said, "ok if I put you on hold?" Then put the phone down next to the register and never returned to take the order! Folks came in to sit down at tables but no one came out to clean them until finally, one customer asked. Pizza - a supreme - was tasty but overcooked after it was moved to the bottom oven to wait a few minutes while others orders were being transcribed. (I was sitting close enough to observe). Overall taste was good but would have been significantly better at 5-10 minutes earlier. Disappointing as all it needed was a little extra effort but it just seemed like the staff was hustling and...

Real businesses can take critism. I can see y ur food is disgusting. Too busy looking up peoples past. Lol Focus on ur snack shack n learn how to cook. Merry Christmas to u too. 🔥 FYI...Your "steak" sub is false advertisement. STEAK is totally different then HAMBURGER. It is actually called, HAMBURGER SUB that ya'll are actually serving. Just wanted to educate ya'll. Otherwise, if I ask for ur STEAK sub, I best be getting a real STEAK on my sub!! Js Tasted like Salisbury steak. THATS prob why u call it STEAK. lol Gross sub. UPDATE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE: They absolutely refuse to give refunds even when they mess up. Was told they would talk to the manager involved and they would make us something else but that was all they would do. Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. Will never go here again or recommend it to anyone. We got a crustless pizza that was just oil and cheese. The order itself came almost an hour late. when I called regarding the crustless pizza I was told it would be several hours before they could do anything. I asked for a refund and the guy said his manager said no. I asked to speak to the manager and then was told the manager would be in Monday so I was clearly lied to. the guy didn't care at all and was completely unwilling to do anything to fix the situation. was sent a survey where I listed the same issues and no one ever reached out like they said they would....
