I've went thru Tudors drive-thru on East Side & West Side both & while both have decent food & friendly drive-thru workers the Tudors on East Side was better in my opinion because the one on East actually opens when they say they do, when you go to the one on West you're taking a gamble, seems they open whenever they feel like it. I've went there 2 hours after their sign said they'd be open (& the one on East had been open) & when I pulled up to the speaker a worker just said "closed" that's it, just "closed" no sorry we are delayed or will be open @ about this time or anything just the one word, which at least they did say that so I knew & didn't wait for nothing. Also on West Side as you leave the drive thru there's always bums standing on the little porch @ the entrance to the dining room that holler @ you every time trying to bum. Everything is expensive enough & hard enough for everyone to make it themselves nowadays, the bums everywhere begging just so they can get high is ridiculous! Why they don't run them off I don't know. Maybe it keeps their dining room from getting too busy which means they don't have to clean as many tables as often. I imagine not many people have much of an appetite after walking thru a crowd of bums crowded onto a tiny porch you'd have to work your way thru while being harassed for anything & everything you got to spare (I imagine some will help themselves to anything they think they could get by with snatching) & walking thru a tiny space with a bunch of unwashed bums in your face I can't imagine smells too good or does much good for the appetite of customers wanting to dine in. I haven't seen anything like that on East Side so far, don't mean it doesn't happen there too, I haven't seen it tho. I know, that's not the workers or restaurant even, but you'd think they'd get ran off. I don't know. But when I go thru a drive-thru it's because I'm stressed & don't want to be bothered but somebody has to eat. Last thing I want is hounded. So I go to East Side Tudors now where the workers are there & ready when they say they'll be & they're friendly & everyone else...

Read moreAlthough this really isn't in a good area, considering the homelessness, drug addiction, and backlash the City of Charleston West Virginia receives, this Tutors was a very pleasant experience. I went through drive-thru, which was very busy I might add. There were around five cars ahead of me, from pulling up to drive through line to the pay window it only took around five minutes. When arriving to the pay window, I had asked about a price of an item and the employee there was very polite even though they were considerably busy, she took the time time to go check without an attitude. Most fast food nowadays with Covid and shortages, exceptional customer service is wearing thin. I had to pull over and wait a few minutes but considering the amount of business they were receiving that's not too bad for three meals. The food was fresh, the biscuits were soft and my tea was great. Definitely would recommend considering the biscuits are their main focus and most tutors have hard biscuits. Oh, and I forgot to mention I went at breakfast time. Which, everyone knows in the state of West Virginia at breakfast time Tutors is...
