I became interested in trying out the food truck after seeing a video about them on IG. Asian cuisine is my favorite and the dishes advertised in the video were enticing.
I visited the food truck at the Bites on Seventh Festival and tried the Korean Fried Dumplings and Korean Rice Bowl with beef bulgogi first. Both had a great taste, I loved the portion size, so I was happy when they opened a food stall at Camp North End.
I visited that location next and have tried even more of their offerings. I don’t have strong knowledge of Korean cuisine, so my feedback is based solely off what I tasted on my tongue.
Creative and flavorful is how I would describe their dishes, which is a fusion of Korean and American cuisine. The Blasian Double Smashburger is a beautifully curated MASTERPIECE. The Loaded Seoulgogi Dawg is the GRAND CHAMP all because of the seoulgogi (steak) on top, which sets it apart from all other hot dogs. The Seoulgogi Loaded Mac N’ Cheese excels because of the creaminess of the mac n’ cheese. When paired with the signature sauce on the seoulgogi, MAGIC is created. The Loaded Seoulgogi Fries is PERFECTION while the Korean Bulgogi Tacos has an excellent combination of flavors and are filled with a plentiful amount of meat. I had another Korean Rice Bowl, this time with Shrimp Bulgogi. The veggies were fresh, crisp and I loved the sauce on the shrimp. I also tried their Blasian Lemonade, which was sweet, tangy, and...
Read moreI ordered the Beef Bolgogi Fries and it was delicious and a good value for the price. The workers were each kind and attentive. I very much enjoyed my food and would absolutely return.
During my stay, I noticed that the order intake system seemed to bottle neck the number of people who could be served. The system involved many taps through the system and is not organized in the same way as the printed menu customers look at while in line. As a result I and other customers I observed had trouble locating the item they wanted on the menu terminal and spent more time than necessary in line.
While deciding where to eat, my partner and I wrote off the Eggroll Stand because the line was so long. By maintaining a short line, customers will be more inclined to order from your stand.
Maybe items menu could be codified with number codes like you see at many Chinese takeout places (L1, L2, etc). That way you could see the number you want while in line and quickly locate the code when you get to the terminal.
Additionally, there may be some screens in the menu that can be combined or cut to streamline the ordering process to require fewer taps and less time.
Overall I had a wonderful experience and would be quick to return to the Blasian Asian Way. However, I think this restaurant could serve many more customers if the order intake system was...
Read moreI really loved my experience with Blasian Asian Way. Every single time I went there, they always accommodated me.They made sure that I had plenty of food and they wouldn't try to take away my money. The price is definitely well worth it. The first time I came there they examples what they do and gave me suggestions. And they still give suggestions to this day. The prepare is so fast. Even when there is a line they still find a way to accommodate everyone with anyone being left out. And when I would come from work late and it would be 8pm. They still left the window open for me to order even though they could've turned me away since it was pass the business operation hours. They stay on top with keeping people updated with promotions and and hours of operation. And if they do close they keep people posted. There is always ways to reach the owners to see if you have any questions via email or phone. I really recommended their food. Omg definitely the seoulgogi...
