So one evening my wife,2 daughters and I went here for dinner. In ordered 4 meals @ $38.94 (4 chicken over rice meals). A day or so later I see an addition charge on my statement on that same day for $25.96. One says pos the other same atm? So I didn’t call I drove back to the restaurant and asked to speak to who’s in charge. I tell him my issue and then calls the owner. We speak and he says he’s on his way there let him look into it,leave my number, charges and name so I did. He calls me back a few hours later and asks me a few more questions and again ask for a little more time but he’d get back to me later the same day. It’s been a week ago now? So how much longer should I wait? Somehow you took an additional $25.96 off my card without me knowing. I wanted my money back or I wouldn’t have brought it to your attention. Did you find out one of your employees is a thief? Or is overcharging,double charging or ringing up bogus bills on peoples credit cards something you normally do? I have the proof. I could make a huge sign with some choice words on it and sit out in front of your establishment whenever I’m bored or even make up some flyers to pass out about my bad experience. How many people has this happened too? I wonder what’s anybody else been scammed like this? CUSTOMERS BE AWARE OF THIS PLACE!!! As of now they stole $25.96 from me how about you? Please read the reviews. I don't get how this place has 4.6 right now. It does not deserve it In my opinion.

Waited almost 30 minutes for my food. Walked outside with my friends because there was like 20 people standing inside. I noticed they were calling our order names over a loud speaker. After waiting, I walked back inside for a refund because I had to leave. Younger guy up front (who was nice) walks over to the manager, the manager looks over and then holds up a bag with my name on it.

He then says that he had been calling my name out. I told him that I had been standing right outside (they called like 5-6 other names over the loud speaker, and even walked outside a few times and called names multiple times.) he looked pissed and said again that he had been calling it out. I said I understand, but it did not come over the loud speaker and there was no attempt to find me. He handed me the bag, again looked pissed like I was wasting his time. No apology or anything. I took my food and walked back out thinking that I was the idiot and didn't hear, but asked and no one else heard my name called. Why do you have a speaker and call out names if you don't call out every name?

Got a chicken shawarma and fries.

Food was ok, but not worth the wait, price and experience.

Let's say it WAS my fault and I somehow didn't hear my name, at least don't make me feel like I am a bother to you.

We visited Halal Street Food at Camp North End for the third and final time, and unfortunately, the experience was worse than ever. We ordered food for a family of five and took it home, only to be let down across the board.

First, despite specifically asking for white sauce and hot sauce, neither was included. It’s a small but important detail, and shows a lack of care in the service.

Second, the chicken recipe seems to change every time we eat here. There’s no consistency in taste, and sadly, it’s only gotten worse with each visit.

Third, my wife ordered the beef kofta over rice, which was $16.99 a ridiculous price for what she received. It came with just rice and a single 4-inch kofta that tasted like it had been dipped in soap. It was genuinely inedible and disgusting.

Fourth, we tried the chicken shawarma and instantly regretted it. It was flat, like someone had sat on it, and the chicken inside had a pasty, unpleasant texture and an awful taste.

To top it off, there were six staff members behind the counter, all busy talking amongst themselves and showing no interest in helping customers. The lack of professionalism and care is very noticeable.
