Checking in at the Tipsy Pickle.

It’s an indoor pickle ball/entertainment place with 5 indoor pickleball courts, 2 golf simulators, pool tables, and an assortment of old school upright video games (Pac-Man, Ms Pac-Man, NBA Jamz, Super Mario Bros, etc.). I was here on Sunday afternoon after their grand opening on Saturday and it was pretty busy. Pretty standard bar food menu (no wings?) with a Mexican lean. They apparently have a partnership with local brewery Protagonist Beer, because that’s mostly what they have on draft, though they do have a Jalapeño Pale Ale from local brewery Birdsong Brewing Co.

I had the Dolly Honey Blonde from Protagonist and it was pretty good. To eat I had the Double Smash Burger with fries and it was pretty good too. The fries were a little soggy, but had good flavor. The burger was pretty good, but felt like it was just a little under cooked. I expect a smash burger to have a little crust on the patties and these didn’t, but still tasted really good. I’d recommend toasting the potato buns they use, but that’s just a personal preference. Overall food was pretty good, better than average, but not great.

Overall, super cool place, pretty good food, and excellent service. I sat at the bar and my bartender was all over it. Can’t speak for the table service, but there were tons of servers bringing out food, drinks, and lots of food. I’d definitely recommend checking this place out. I’ll absolutely be back.

Word of warning - parking is an absolute nightmare! Other than that, highly...

I stopped into Tipsy Pickle during a quick weekend trip to Charlotte, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my visit. From the moment I sat down the service was immaculate. I was greeted with cold water in less than five minutes and taken care of the entire time.

The food was outstanding. The “Big Ass Burrito” absolutely lives up to its name and is a must try, especially with a side of hot sauce. I also loved the queso and guacamole, both creamy and full of flavor. Their nuggets were tasty, and the breakfast burrito was another winner. For drinks, I had a caramel macchiato with an extra shot and asked for a little more vanilla syrup to sweeten it up. They nailed it, and even better, they didn’t charge extra for the tweaks. That small detail made me feel really appreciated as a guest.

The atmosphere is what makes this place special. A DJ was spinning hits from every genre, the energy was upbeat, and they even had a Casamigos “make your own margarita” setup. The bathrooms were spotless too, which always stands out. On top of that, the day’s event was “Play vs. a Pro” with a chance to win $1,000 cash. Watching the matches was so much fun, and they had cornhole set up too, which kept everyone entertained between games.

Between the great food, amazing drinks, fun atmosphere, and interactive events, Tipsy Pickle delivered way beyond what I expected. If you’re ever in Charlotte, do yourself a favor and stop by. This place is a perfect mix of good food, good drinks,...

This was my first visit to Camp North End and we decided to circle back to the Tipsy Pickle for some lunch after browsing the shops. Granted, there aren't a ton of shops and the maps are a little confusing, but still overall a good wander and vibe.

We opted to just have lunch after our warm walk 🥵 and shared very reasonably priced wings and chips with salsa. We loved being able to scan the menu to order and cash out our tab later.

Both items came out very quickly, although no one offered us any plates and we were only provided a few napkins.

We opted for a coke and an unsweetened Arnold Palmer palmer to drink, which arrived first. I should have asked about the tea used for the Arnold Palmer as it may have had artificial sweeteners which I'm not a huge fan of personally.

We enjoyed hanging out and would love to come back to play some pool or maybe even try out playing pickle ball itself. There are also some arcade machines scattered about and lots of varied seating indoors and out.

Cons: the music was very loud and no one asked us if we needed anything once they left the food.

That being said, we'd definitely like to come back. I loved seeing a...
