I have a very complicated relationship with this Bojangles. On one hand, it is 2 minutes walking distance from where I live (yes, very dangerous) and it’s my neighborhood Bojangles. I’ve been here many times over the last several years to say the least, and I’m often treated well and have decent served food. Some of the servers are friendly and remember me. Other times, the customer service is non-existent and inattentive as others have mentioned. One issue I have is with the sweet tea, at least if you dine in. It often tastes like it has a hint of dish-washing liquid residue as if it wasn’t cleaned/rinsed all the way. Whenever this happens, I just dump out my cup and get Mountain Dew instead. Bummer since Bo Tea is the best! Also, I’m typing this on a table that is extremely wobbly and feels like it could fall off at any moments notice. And it’s not uncommon to witness the employees talk to each other in an unprofessional manner in both the kitchen and dining area. It may seem like I’m hating. I’m not. Like I said the beginning, this Bo is special to me as I’ve had many interactions with it and I’ve grown comfortable with the idiosyncrasies. But facts are facts. Im sure they get their share of characters in here who don’t respect the space, but I’d still like to see them do a little bit better like the Bojangles in Cotswold. If you can overlook these...
Read moreGood if you catch it fresh. Usually get hard chicken burt biscuits that are hard as a rock and the tea is only good about 3 out of 10 times. I've gotten ham biscuits with biscuits so hard they fall apart and you can't even eat them. Last one I got the ham was burnt and the biscuit was so hard it turned to dust. I have a picture of that one if you care to see it. People break in front of me when I go inside.i heard they refused to serve people who supported Trump. I'm not into politics and could care which one wins or won. I just hope whoever it is, they make America a better place. Help small businesses and us good hard workers out with some sort of help. Also, last time I was there, a week ago. A guy was giving me attitude about me waiting 10 and a doordash cut in front of me. It took him about 2 minutes to hand me a old ,hard cajun filet with a even harder biscuit. As I was in a hurry back to work, I took a couple of bites on my way back, 5 minutes up the road to my job at Pet Supplies Plus. After 3 bites of teeth braking chicken and crumbled biscuit, I noticed some sort o fabric, strings maybe, hanging out the bread. This made me nauseous so needless to say, I felt sick at work for a good couple hours because of thinking about it. Now I don't think I can eat there again. I'm sure it's not like this all the time but I've notice a big change there in the...
Read moreAbsolutely the WORST fast food restaurant I've ever been too. Been three times over the course of a year and a half to this location. They shouldn't even have menu options. They ONLY serve fried chicken. Never try to get anything else, because they don't got it. There's never anyone in line either so it's not like they're selling out. The people demand a stocked kitchen! I want a sandwich! On to the next issue-the iced tea taste like toilet water. Like they fill up the buckets from the hose out side then just dump and reuse. Seriously gross and a health hazard. Heck, this whole location is a health hazard. This issue i try to be gentle with because i understand the struggle.. I really do.. But the workers running register are completely incompetent.. Incorrect change, incorrect condiments stated two literally two seconds prior, and not one has actually said anything to me; either too busy with the staff standing right next to them and chatting doing absolutely nothing or literally just on their phone the entire transaction. Like apologizing to the person on the phone but not the customer?? Lol
Every other Bojangles ive tried is complete opposite; delicious food, nice staff, semi clean.
And also, almost 4 stars???? No way. Bojangles you must be doin somethin...
