Chex Grill & Wings — Restaurant in Charlotte

I recently visited Chex Grill & Wings for the first time, and I must say, it was an impressive experience. The establishment was impeccably clean, which immediately made me feel comfortable and welcomed. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

I ordered the shrimp avocado salad, and it did not disappoint. The portion was generous and perfectly balanced with fresh ingredients. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, and the avocado added a delightful creaminess to the dish. It was not only delicious but also a healthy option that left me feeling satisfied.

Additionally, the manager kindly offered me a sample of their strawberry hot wings, and they were absolutely delicious. The combination of sweet and spicy flavors was unique and mouthwatering. If I hadn’t been so stuffed from my meal, I would have definitely ordered a plate to go.

I visited twice in September, and both times I ordered a club sub with turkey, ham, and bacon with lettuce, tomatoes, etc. Neither time I didn't get what I ordered or wanted on the club sandwich either time. It wasn't ham, but some kind of beef bologna, not ham. The turkey came straight out of a pack. The sandwich came without any toppings. was crammed into a little club roll that was already cold. I  don’t know what kind of bacon that was. It is not what I am used to, but for eight dollars, it could have been a whole lot better than that. I ordered a side of the extremely dry string fry for $3.50. The bill comes out to be thirteen dollars. The place is okay but needs to serve the order that is listed on their menu correctly instead of something else that is not on the menu for those items.  A good cook and kitchen help make a good restaurant, not a wannabe one....

I want to start off by saying the food was absolutely delicious! I had the Philly Cheesesteak Sub and I have absolutely no critiques or criticism (except I should've asked for an additional sauce because I'm a saucy kind of girl). I dined in and it was such a calm and inviting atmosphere. After I placed a takeout order for my sister, I shared with the young man that took my order that it was a spill or something on the floor near the trash can. Mind you, I just saw him takeout the trash. He came out and accessed the spill and came back and mopped nearly half the floor (talk about work ethic). In a world where young black men are often demonized and criticized, this one took pride in his work and where he worked. Even though I don't frequent this area, I'll be coming back...
