NoDa Bodega is an absolute gem! I found this spot through my own research, and I’m so glad I did. Every sandwich I’ve tried has been amazing - The J Rock, the Reuben, and even a turkey and sauerkraut special were all packed with flavor and perfectly made. The quality of ingredients is top-notch, and you can tell they put care into every bite.

The quality of ingredients is top-notch, and you can tell they put care into every bite.

I also tried a side of their chicken salad, and it was so good! It was packed with chicken - no skimpy portions here - and seasoned perfectly. Just like everything else on the menu, it was flavorful and delicious.

I love the variety of unique chip flavors they offer, and while the drink selection is simple, it pairs well with the food. I’ve already brought some family members here, and I’ll definitely be bringing more friends and family because it’s just that good. Update: granted it's been a while since my wife and I have been able to stop by...the food wasn't the same at all, nor was the atmosphere from when we'd been going here in the past. I'm changing my 5 star to 3 star (I hate leaving bad reviews), I can't recommend this place anymore. Sandwiches used to be toasted, warm and delicious every time, now the same sandwiches we always got were cold and soggy. My wife mentioned that the pickled onions on her sandwich tasted like they were fermented and possibly expired. Half the place looked like it was for storage, just about everything on tap was out. The vibe was totally off. We were going to sit down at the bar and have lunch and a couple of drinks on an early day off from work and changed our order to go. I don't know what has happened to this place, if ownership has changed or people have just lost their excitement, but it's kind of heartbreaking because I really did love this place so much a few years back and would eat there regularly. Whoever's in charge, I think it's really time to reevaluate some things because you totally lost me....

I swear by Noda Bodega. This is EASILY my favorite sandwich shop in Charlotte and honest it’s the best kept secret! I’ve tried basically everything on the menu and you cannot go wrong. The owner is honestly a creative mastermind when it comes to throwing together perfectly crafted sandwiches. There have been times where ingredients are so odd that I think “this can’t possibly be good together” but then I order it anyways and take the first bite only to be amazed at how well they actually compliment each other. They do two special sandwiches every day for lunch and you can find them posted on their instagram @nodabodega. Today we tried the southern style biscuit with liver mush for the first time and WOW!! It was messy and completely fell apart in the best way possible. I also love the Jersey Photoman! Overall, this place is one of my favorites to eat at in Charlotte and I will continue to come back pretty much weekly! If you haven’t been here...
