Great hidden gem in south Charlotte! It is located in a converted Long John Silvers location so it’s a little divey but that only adds to the charm! Their menu consists of Chinese, Korean and wings! Well, they even have gyros so a little Greek too!
All of the Chinese food is nicely done with plenty of fresh vegetables or whatever the dish consists of. I really enjoy their Chinese food but I mostly go for the Korean food (a Korean family owns the restaurant).
Their Bulgogi is very nice and nicely priced as well! My absolute favorite dish is the Dolsot Bi Bim Bop. It is a bunch of vegetables with Bulgogi over rice then cooked in a hot stone pot with a sunny side up egg on top- delicious!
Did I mention their wings?!! They have some of the best anywhere and have a variety of flavors to choose from.
One more thing I have to mention is that they have a full bar with beer, wine and mixed drinks. They have several carefully crafted specialty cocktails that are very nice! One that I will mention in particular is the Long Island Ice Tea Knight which is made with all top shelf liquors including Tito’s, Tanqueray, and Elijah Craig among others. These are quite potent so please be careful!
Great family owned Asian restaurant with fabulous food and drinks!...
Read moreI want to start off by saying I normally always leave positive reviews or none at all. I came in today bc a friend recommended me to try it after new ownership or management. I've been a couple times in the past. Maybe about a decade ago. There's a ton new updates to the atmosphere and menu which was nice so I thought I'd try out a few items. I have had their wings before, and I must say it was delicious, so we ordered twice. It's a bit overpriced but it was that good. Everything else, wasn't. My husband, daughter and myself, have tried many Korean spots and agreed this was barely edible. We have a 1 and 3 years old that barely ate a couple spoons of rice. And we were considered a party of 5 for automatic gratuity. 🤔 I then spoke to a staff member about it, mentioning, they were small and 1 barely ate, the other had his own milk bottle as he is cranky and tired; the lady then told me, "yeah it doesn't matter, they take up space". Seriously? We sat at a table with a booth and chairs. We did Not take up "space" and the seats are meant for people to sit on. I'm wouldn't say this place is for children and unfortunately I will not be coming back. The service was not good enough for the establishment to be taking tips at 19%. But that was not deserved or...

I went here as i was craving for korean food. The first encounter was nice as the server directed me to my table and I thanked him. Before taking my order, I noticed that the korean server was quite polite at the table nearby where non asians were seated. Then he approached me to take my order, while I blurted out "Dolsot Bibimbap and tea", i was still browsing for other food that I can try, when the server suddenly yanked the menu out of my hand. Shocked, i called his attention and shouted "Why did you take the menu out of my hands, i was not finished yet".
Then he approached me and told me to "Please leave coz I have a bad attitude".
First off, yanking the menu off someone's hands while still browsing is rude and offensive. I think the korean server thought that since I am asian, its okay to treat that way.
This restaurant would have been a good option for me as I work nearby for a short term assignment in Charlotte. But please improve on customer experience. Please tell the server to be more gentle in handling the customers. Your food might be good but if the experience isn't something nice, I will end up telling my korean counterparts (I am from Singapore) to avoid this place and eat somewhere with...
