WISH I could give 0 stars Horrible cx service. As soon as I pulled up to place my order the young lady asked me to go to the other speaker. I get over there and the young man is struggling to take the car's order in front of me. Meanwhile the first speaker, she takes the car right after me. Literally, 4 cars come and go before my order is taken. I quickly learned once I got to the speaker that it was not the hearing, he literally just not paying attention and could careless if your order was correct. He kept cutting me off and over-talking me BUT the order was ALL wrong. Then he has another employee take over and she comes on with/ an attitude, tries to rush me and she soon realizes he took the order wrong and she is so busy trying to be smart that she takes the order wrong. Finally, I'm able to pay. I sit at that window for 3 minutes before he even opens the window. I finally get the food and it's STILL wrong!! While I’m checking everything a young lady snatches the window open and I hear the guy say “she just looking at her food”, something I have a right to do. So 7 cars after me have got their food and gone and I'm finally pulling off w/ the wrong order almost 30 minutes later. Food was good in terms of flavor and affordability but the staff at the walk up window didn't exhibit much patience, tolerance or understanding. Yes, it's after 2 in the morning but there's no need to be rude to customers. If you don't want to be polite or don't feel like working, just call out and stay home. When I received my food over 20mins later (slightly understandable as the restaurant was busy) I realized she didn't put in forks for me to eat my cheesecake and fries. There was no straw for the soda. I had to request that my food be bagged - even though she clearly could see I wasn't an octopus and only had two hands. Got in the car and got 2mins down the road to realize I didn't get the bottled water. Turned back and this lady at the walk up insisted I wait for her to complete another three transactions before just giving me the water that she forgot. I went over to the drive through and explained the situation to the server there and she told me, "Ok. Well you need to get out my drive through and go back over there. You're backing up my drive through." Ended up waiting approximately 7mins additional for a bottled water THAT WAS TO COME WITH MY ORDER IN THE FIRST PLACE!! She didn't apologise or anything. Don't go to location on S. Tyron in Charlotte, NC. I arrived at 8:57pm in the drive thru and did not leave until 9:22pm. I was told by Manager Julio that they had five new hires working tonight. He said it was ok to wait 15 minutes. NO it's not ok to wait 15 minutes to receive cold Cajun chicken sandwich, cold fries and cold corndog. I decided to give the food back because this is not an acceptable way to serve food to customers.
I would bet that when they get a lunch break their food is hot and fresh!!! No one likes old or cold food that should be hot.
There were two people who walked up to the window and they were returning their order. Tonight was not the first time I've had an issue previously, called main office in Thomasville, NC to explain the poor customer service and food at this location. Lesson learned, do not waste your money, they will just give you a card to replace your tray/meal withthe same poor customer service and food. I should have taken heed many years ago when my bestfriend told me she never ate at Cookout again after finding a fingernail in her milkshake!!!
