Great Harvest Bread — Restaurant in Charlotte

The staff is amazing! Unfortunately the new management Katy is not! Quite obnoxious in fact! Very poor people skills. All the new changes implemented since she has taken over-are not for the betterment of her business; she has turned off long time customers. Then to boot, I arrive back at my office to discover that the apples in my Harvest Salad were brown and rotting! Bryna, Mary I will miss seeing your smiling faces every week, but I will not be treated badly while supporting her business! This was one of my favorite go-to's for almost 4 years - I miss Bob, he too was a reason I frequented this business- but now I will never return. Your loss Katy! I've been here twice and both times the people have just stared at me and haven't been very friendly. I went in after they had been open for 30 minutes. When I go to put in my order I'm told those items are made yet. It seems really weird to me that you have a particular menu but dont have those items available when you are open. Then I go to get some coffee and they dont have any made. Its 8am how do you not have coffee ready. It wasn't like they were swarmed with customers either. I could totally have seen it if they had a house full of coffee drinking patrons but there was literally one other person there. Definitely a cute place. But they do NOT HAVE COFFEE. Obviously marketed as a bread place but upon googling it showed as a coffee shop and some reviews confirmed it. Maybe different locations? I did try their bacon, egg and cheese on the roasted herb or garlic (something like that) bread and it was definitely good but felt like it could’ve used a tomato or something added. Not sure it was worth the $6.77 I paid; however, the girl in there was super sweet and let me sample a peanut butter cookie for the lack of coffee and it was delish! I do recommend going for their bread but not if you’re on the hunt...
