Green Brothers Juice & Smoothie Co — Restaurant in Charlotte

Bought a smoothie and before I could pick it up from the counter some random woman picked it up to admire the color. I asked her not to touch my food, but she said it was okay because she actually works there and is the manager.

Only, she was there as a customer, with her kids. I don’t know the last time she washed her hands and I find it completely inappropriate that when off duty she feels she can touch other’s drinks because “it matches my friend’s shirt!”. This is unsanitary and overall strange behavior.

Edit to add: Since the owner is saying that she was checking for “quality assurance”, why then did they remark that they were looking at it because it matched the other woman’s shirt? This feels like a blatant lie to try and CYA. Regardless if she had washed her hands recently, she was touching and playing with the kids and the sticker bin which would mean she needed to wash them again.

Great to know that this unprofessional behavior extends to the owner, not just the rest...

Been going to green brothers for years, they got rid of chow now to order pick up & their website (thru lunch box) is not user friendly nor the staff (anymore). I tried 3 times to order on the website, you can login with your google emails or create an account - tried to login w my google emails they sent you verification codes to make sure it’s your cell phone you’re using, but it won’t let me enter my card info - just not user friendly on the phones. tried 3 separate times then gave up and called up there and just like last time I called a couple weeks ago, the staff says you need to use the website and don’t take orders through the phone. So I finally gave up - and went to clean juice. I feel with businesses you should be able to order with what is convenient and easy for you because you’re the customer that’s paying. Whether it’s in person, on the phone or a more user friendly website. I’ve never had a place say they can’t help you over the phone. Clean...

The smoothies are good. But customer service is awful. Long waiting times and The staff is not groomed and overall look dirty. Like they just wake up and are wearing undies to go to work. There was a guy scratching his head and putting his hands on the products. I wonder if they know the importance of asepsis in a place that handles food. I’ve been going for months to this location, almost since the opening because I live behind the shopping center. On top of all, The lady who took my order, was no friendly at all and rush through my order. including 20% without my consent. I had the expensive smoothie ever $13.63 lastly I requested the bill and the lady ignored my inquiry. I won’t go back...
