If I could give zero stars I would. When we first got there we pulled into the parking lot and the sign said free valet. The man who worked there told us we had that option or we could go to the parking deck and get our car validated for free. When we were seated everything was well until it came to the food and drinks. The strawberry margarita was extremely watered down and just filled with ice. They got our party’s orders mixed up and it took longer than usual for their food to come out. The food was okay but a little bland. My sister asked for the tacos and the waitress Cierra asked if she would like rice or beans with it. She did not tell her it was for an extra $4. Cierra also told us we would have our parking validated and to go to the front so they can scan it. The worst part of this experience is trying to get out of the parking deck. When we scanned the code our ticket said invalid. We called the restaurant for assistance they told us to press help for the parking deck to open it up for us. When we called for help the security for the parking told us it was on the restaurant to pay if our ticket wasn’t working because they should keep up with their barcodes. She also told us if she were to send someone down to open the gate they would charge our license tag $100. Even if it was not our fault. The restaurant went back and forth and said it wasn’t true. And then told us they only validate for 2 hours and we were going to have to pay the extra charge. 1. NOONE told us that in valet or at the establishment. They all (includimg the waitress) just told us it would be validated. 2. The sign at the parking deck states on the weekends the parking is just a flat rate. It’s not charged hourly. So our parking wasn’t validated at all. 3. My aunt wasn’t even in the establishment for 2 hours and was still charged regular fee so even if it was an hourly rate her parking should’ve been free. So none of what they said made any sense. The parking deck and the restaurant were not on the same page and their validation tickets do not work. Thats why it kept saying invalid. Just a whole scam after spending over $200 and supporting their business. Will never return again after getting bland food and bad service.

After a long day of shopping I decided to stop by LA Capital MX for dinner... I was dining solo so I asked for a table for 1 ... The hostess asked if I wanted to sit at the bar and I declined. I was then told that only the bar and outside (December rainy day) was available for one person. I then began to look out into the mostly empty restaurant and was perplexed as to why I could not be seated at a table. I was told they were for reservations and if i wanted to be seated my only options were the bar or outside on the patio ( wet cold).I stood there and the hostess hastily went to the back to inquire about alternative seat for a single/solo customer. Eventually clearance was given to seat me at one of the many empty tables. I was seated and the encounter with my server was much better than that of the hostess... Makayala was kind attentive and provided good recommendations for both drinks and tacos. The drink was perfect and the tacos were very filling. My primary concern was the difficult uncomfortable and unwelcoming experience/encounter to be seated as a single/solo guest. Oh by the way more than 50% of the tables remained open while I dined.

First I just have to say that this is probably the best Mexican restaurant in Charlotte. The ambiance of the restaurant is great. If you want intimate dinner vibes with your significant other, they provide that. If you have a dinner party, you can do that as well. The complementary tortilla chips with the salsas and cheese are amazing, the drinks are great and the entrees are delicious and full of flavor. Now let's get to the best part. From the moment our waitress Chelsea walked to our table, I knew we was in for a treat. She made our entire table feel like family and as if we had known her for years. We were there celebrating two April birthdays and being an Aries herself, she made them feel super special. Hands down top notch quality service. Do yourself a favor and ask for Chelsea to be your waitress. You will not regret it because not only will you leave there full from a great meal, you will also leave feeling like you gained a friend. We are definitely coming back and she is definitely part of the reason why (outside of the amazing food). Oh yeah and ask Chelsea to make you a margarita! 🤌🏿

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Yamin and I must say that the experience was exceptional, thanks to our wonderful server. From the moment we walked in, Yamin greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home.

Yamin's knowledge of the menu was impressive. He enthusiastically recommended his favorite dishes and provided detailed descriptions of each item. His passion for the food was contagious and it made our decision-making process a lot easier.

Throughout the meal, Yamin was attentive and ensured that all of our needs were met. He was quick to refill our drinks, bring extra napkins, and check if we needed anything else. His attention to detail and genuine care for his customers truly made the dining experience memorable.

Not only was Yamin an excellent server, but he also had a great sense of humor. He engaged in friendly conversation with us and made us feel like we were dining with a friend. His positive energy and charismatic personality added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal.

In terms of the food itself, Yamin's recommendations were spot-on. Each dish was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. From the appetizers to the desserts, every bite was a delightful journey for our taste buds. Yamin's knowledge and passion for the cuisine truly shone through in the dishes he served us.

Overall, I cannot speak highly enough of Yamin and the exceptional service he provided. He went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. If you have the opportunity to dine at Yamin, I highly recommend requesting him as your server. You won't be...

Very disappointing experience here. First, DO NOT order the $50 margarita pitcher. We were talked into it by the bartender as a “great deal.” We then proceeded to watch him fill a pitcher up completely with ice and at least half soda water. In total, the pitcher yielded about 6 margaritas. Split between two people it was 3 each. We finished the pitcher within 30 minutes and felt NOTHING. I am a small woman who doesn’t need more than two beers to feel something - 3 margaritas anywhere else would have had me feeling great! It was the BIGGEST waste of money, we paid $50 for juice. We had two beers after the margaritas because we were stone sober and felt 5x more from the draft beers. Second, service is unbelievably slow. The restaurant was empty and it took us 15 minutes to get the margarita pitcher and FOREVER to get our food. They only validate parking for 2 hours and we were there for 3 hours simply because of slow service, so we had to pay for parking on top of it. Lastly, be aware they cannot split tabs for large parties. We were not told this ahead of time, so after the disappointing dinner we had to sit there in a party of 10 and do math to split the bill. Avoid this place, it is NOT...
