In my experience it’s generally tough to get good customer service from younger generations. I was shocked however to see that at the Little Cesars location on University Blvd it’s the older, management level employees, with terrible customer service skills. I was waiting in line when Donald the manager on duty asked if I was picking up an order. I said yes and provided the pickup name. Donald stated that the order was in the warming locker which could not be opened and asked if I had a receipt. I told him “no I don’t have the receipt I just have the order confirmation. Is this what you need?” (and I turn my phone around to show him what I have). Without even looking at what I was attempting to show him, Donald proceeds to raise his voice and get smart with me by saying “that’s a receipt is it not?” Confused by who tf Donald thought he was talking to, I look around and notice the other 2 customers as well as the cashier staring as a result of Donald raising his voice. Now I’m not sure where, why or how Donald misconstrued the difference between an order confirmation number which is literally just a number versus a receipt that shows items purchased and prices of the Items purchased (which I did not have), but regardless of the misunderstanding, I didn’t feel the need to escalate things to the level of which Donald had already reached. Donald must’ve seen the confused look on my face because he repeated that he needed a receipt. This prompted me to repeat myself as well. For the second time, I explained to Donald that I did not have a receipt, but I did have the order confirmation to which I turned my phone around again to show him the order confirmation. Magically Donald is now able to open the warming locker. He never entered anything from the order confirmation that I showed him, he just opened the warming locker. If what I showed him initially sufficed as a “receipt” why did he feel the need to cause a scene by raising his voice and making smart comments? Secondly, why lie and say the warming locker couldn’t be open when I watched him open it without entering in any codes? Donald truly came off as an employee in leadership who hates his job so he’d rather make things hard for customers by being difficult and taking his frustrations out on others. Lastly it’s no coincidence that his name is mentioned in several reviews related to poor customer service. At this point I’m not sure why Little Cesar’s continues to...
Read moreWent to Little Caesars today 11/2/21. I ordered a thin crust cheese pizza and a order of fresh crazy bread with extra butter and parmesan cheese. The young lady (Nikeya) that took my order took almost 5 mins taking my order and she kept messing up. I was at the front of the counter speaking very clearly! I had to tell her my simple order like 5-6 times! Unreal! After Nikeya told me my total she walked to the back to make more pizzas while I'm holding the cash in my hand to give to her for my food. I waited like 5 mins thinking she was coming back to the front, but she still remain in the back. I then walked outside to get in my car under the assumption that my order was placed and I would pay when I come back from around the corner. I arrived back at Little Caesars and to my surprise the rude young lady hadn't even attempted to put my order in. I had to order the entire order again! I waited almost 30 mins for a thin crust pizza and 1 order of crazy bread! At this point I could tell that there were too many young people at this location that could care less about providing good customer service! The young lady (Nikeya) not only walked off from my order, but she hung up on a customer calling the phone and walked off from another customer forgetting to give the lady her change! This is really ridiculous! If management keep hiring people that don't care about their job or customers then they should just Close Down This Location (University City Blvd)! I live down the street and it's never the same people at this location! The employees aren't trained properly, they don't know the products at all and they don't care about the customers! Please! Run! Don't waste your time or money and more importantly Don't Try Calling the Store! Fyi: the young lady name maybe spelled incorrectly,...
Read moreI've ordered from this location multiple times and have more issues than not -- mostly surrounding their consistently poor customer service. The people who work there always feel the most unfriendly, unprofessional, and overall unhelpful. This last time I ordered from there, it included Crazy Bread which, when I got home and looked more closely at it, realized it was literally just breadsticks -- no garlic or parmesan cheese. I tried calling them that night to complain. First time I reached someone and shared what happened, he asked me to hold and then soon hung up (or we were disconnected). Second time, he relayed that his manager said all of their Crazy Bread is made with garlic sauce and parmesan. I'm like.... 😐😐😐 Ooook, but that's the whole point of why I'm calling -- that's how Crazy Bread is supposed to be made, but I'm telling you mine wasn't!!
He again asked me to hold.. and seemed to put the phone down and never come back. I was on "hold" for at least 10 minutes, when I just finally decided to hang up. Tried calling multiple more times, and nothing.
And this wasn't my first, or second, negative experience with them.
The last few times I went, they also didn't have parmesan or dried red pepper flakes packets, napkins, OR plates available. What kinda pizza place doesn't keep packets of parmesan and red pepper?!?!? And what kind of food place in general doesn't keep napkins?!!??
Sigh. I hate that this is the closest LC to me, which is why I've tried to give them additional chances, but I see I will have to just experience some inconvenience in seeking out other locations that hopefully aren't too far...or just stop supporting Little Caesar's entirely. Too much of a hassle and not ever knowing what you're getting -- wherever in the...
