Absolutely Disappointing Experience – Repeatedly!
I’ve visited Suvida Indian Grocery Store over 10 times, and let me be very clear: not once have I ever been greeted or acknowledged properly at the counter. The staff always behave like customers are a burden. No smiles, no “hello,” no basic courtesy just cold, unfriendly attitudes like we’re doing something wrong by shopping there.
They always seem to be in a rush to finish their work and go home. It’s as if they don’t care about the customer experience at all. Every visit feels uncomfortable because of how tense and uninterested the staff are. It’s not just one timeit’s every single time.
On my most recent visit, I picked up Dawat Basmati Rice that had a $12 price tag clearly shown under it. At checkout, they charged me $16. When I questioned it, instead of pausing to verify, the cashier just went ahead and charged me $16, set my things aside, and then called someone else to go and check the price. Turns out, the $12 price tag was placed under that rice by mistake but that’s their fault, not mine.
So why was I the one treated like I did something wrong? There was no apology, no courtesy, and absolutely no effort to make things right. This is not how customers should be treated.
Honestly, the management seriously needs to take a hard look at how this store is being run. If you’re looking for a store that values its customers, respects their time, and treats them with basic decency...
