As door dash I was treated unfairly and was discriminated by the assistant manager Wilbert Timmons. When I arrived to McDonald’s located at 2518 Beatties Ford Rd Charlotte NC I pulled into the drive through and revealed myself as a DoorDash driver. I was immediately told that DoorDash drivers or to come inside which was said in a very disrespectful tone of voice. I proceeded inside to complete my dasher pick up. When I went inside it was about 8 people inside standing far back from the front counter. I asked was everyone waiting? People responded saying yes and also everyone inside were DoorDash drivers. I continued to wait at the front counter to be assisted. In order for the McDonald’s worker to know that the dasher has arrived we provide a 3 digit code.As I continue to wait A worker name Damany was mopping the front area. Because he was the only one that was nearby I asked will anyone be assisting me because I was sent inside. Damany yelled his voice to the back stating that it is assistance needed in the front. People could see they order numbers from a distance snd but the orders were just sitting while every worker was in the back attending the drive through. We was treated as if we didn’t matter as a DoorDash driver. As Damany tried his best to answer me and others questions and trying to get someone to assist me the assistant Manager Wilbert Timmons walked to the front and stated “Do Not talk to door dash drivers. Do not talk to them they just have to stand there and wait.” His comment was unexceptable and discrimination as a DoorDash driver. I work really hard when doing my DoorDash and shouldn’t be served and treated no differently then any other customer at McDonald’s. The police was called out and my statement was given and I will be doing a law suite for discrimination and harassment as a DoorDash driver. This was the worst experience...
Read moreIt is never a pleasant experience coming to this McDonalds location. I door dash a few hours a week and every time I have to pickup orders from there I can always count on long wait times, rude employees, and even most recently a huge argument outside between a customer and an employee. I have decided moving forward that any time this restaurant shows up for pickups I will be declining. Tonight I went to pick up an order and I went to the drive thru as the inside lobby is always closed. I waited quite some time in the drive thru which I completely understand with how staffing is going in most industries. Well I get to the speaker and I say that I have a door dash pickup. I am asked for the last three of the ID number and asked to pull to the second window. After waiting in line for another 7-10 minutes I get to the window and I tell the attendant that I am picking up for door dash. She rudely says “you need to come inside” so because I have spent close to 20 minutes in the drive thru, which I ALWAYS have done I advise her that I was told to come to the window so she repeats you need to come inside. I say okay. As I pull up I hear her screaming about how much they hate door dashers. I kindly unassigned the order and left. Aside from the horrible attitudes I feel the behavior I witnessed tonight was extremely disrespectful because I was NEVER rude during this...
Read moreBy far the WORST McDonald's I have ever been to! Rude and nasty employees actually bully customers. One employee directly treated my daughter and I disrespectfully, while other employees just watched. And we only went through the drive thru. Had to pull forward and wait because our DRINKS weren't ready. It was pouring rain so I called inside and told them I'd drive back around so they didn't have to come outside in the rain. The lady I spoke to was very thankful and told the team. But they either didn't like it or didn't get it because she said, "She's doing y'all a favor!" as I hung up. The second time through is when a young girl stood behind the window and just mean mugged me and daughter for a solid minute. Then opened the window and screamed to turn my wipers. I did and apologized but it was too late she had slammed the window shut and went right back to starting at us. Finally she handed us our drinks, Carmel macchiato and a slushie thing that cost almost $8 together, half empty and both wrong. I asked about the half empty drink and she said, "That's the amount" and slammed the door again. I did send an email and the manger did reach out and offer to remake the drinks for free next time, but I don't live anywhere near...
