They don't have a dining room and the menu is on a marquis. I noticed that they had fresh fish from a sign in the window before I entered the place.
Once I walked in I was asked if I was there for a pickup. Apparently the bulk of their business is called in or via internet. Not really sure though. I was told they only accepted cash however which fortunately I happened to have on this particular day.
I ordered a flounder sandwich and fries, the sandwich came plain on a toasted bun. With packets of sauces. I will say that the food was excellent and the fries were cooked to order. They were crinkle cut but were excellent, having a light crisp texture. As I said the sandwich was plain, I was expecting a bit of slaw but it was fine. Maybe if the right person sees this then they might at least offer it.
Once I placed my order I asked if there was someplace I could wash up. I deliver used auto parts and sometimes my hands get pretty dirty. And this food was prepared to be eaten with your hands. The person said that their restrooms were closed to the public. This is one of the reasons my rating is low. He did once I explained that I had been handling a greesy engine open them up for me.
So I get it, they are trying to do the bulk of their business on some kind of call in or internet business. I think a few restaurants are going that direction since the COVID pandemic. As for me, I'm not ready to give up the pleasure of sitting in a restaurant and enjoying a well...
Read moreI called to place a pickup order. It was the first time I had ever been to this place as I spent a lot of my time on the road. Anyways. I asked placed my order and was going on to my partners order. The person assisting us on the phone seemed annoyed for asking whether or not they have turkey bacon or sausage. Furthermore. I finished my order. Another one of my team members wanted to place an order, so I simply called back. Stating I just placed an order I'd like to add to it, please. The response over the phone was yeah, now what? They take the order, and I go pick it up. Upon arrival, I was not greeted. Instead, i was asked if I was the one who called the place the order? With a snarky attitude. I explained that we're all coming and paying for our orders separately since we're riding in different trucks, and yes, I was the one who called. Why? She looked at me and then went on to interrogate me regarding their arrival. When I go to pay. She states it's Cash Only. Never did she mention this when I placed the order. I use the convenient atm they have inside and pay and go about my way. I immediately called my team members and told them to not waist their money. That the food sucked and the service was horrible. So they didn't go. She then called me to my phone, asking when the guys would go and get their food. I told her I'd call them. Her number then got added to my block list. I'll never go...
Read moreGood morning, my experience at Niki's today was terrible. Don't get me wrong. The service was quick, but the food was the pits. My stomach is still doing flip-flops. I had the home fries 3 scramble eggs and it looked like 2. 2 sausage links which was 1 smoked sausages, cutting in half. They charged me double today for that the potatoes. The home fries undercook the seasoning heavy with oregano. The smoke sausages burnt on the outside undercooked. On the inside. Usually Nikki has the best service. The best customer experiences the best atmosphere. Everything down to a point. The girls that were working today no smiles. No, how you doing? How may I help you? They just took the whole place today and turned it upside down. The cook's act like they didn't even wanna be there. And that is not how I remember that place the other morning.
