Panaderia La Espiga — Restaurant in Charlotte

I went there today for the first & last time!! I walked in, there was no one in the front & the casings were open. When the lady finally comes out to ring me up, she doesn't smile, doesn't say hello, nothing. She had a nasty look on her face, clearly very angry. She was throwing my pan all in the bags. She also over charged me for a churro. I didn't get my receipt so who knows what else she probably overcharged. The bread is not the best I've tasted. It's dry and tastes old. I don't recommend this...

Celebrating my son's 1st birthday, I wanted a beautiful cake to stand out. I got my cake 2 hours late and it was a disaster from then on out. The cake did not even manage to make it out the box due to the fact that it was poorly made and it even up titling as though it was going to fall apart. I was devastated. Paying $175 for a cake that I could not even take proper pictures of and they do not want to take responsibility for it!...

My biggest complaint was with housekeeping they neglected to clean the room, they basically made the bed but didn't vaccum and didn't have towels and the normal supplies available.
