Singas Pizza in Oakhurst is a must-try for anyone looking to enjoy something beyond the ordinary in Charlotte. Owned by Enrique, a NY native, this spot isn’t serving up traditional NY pizza. It’s pan-style pizza, a creation that hails from the Berkshires of Massachusetts. The 10” personal pans and 14” pies are made to order, featuring dough with a delightful flavor and crispiness, piled high with cheese and a sauce that’s on the sweeter side (a win in my book).
I tried the eggplant pizza, and let me tell you, the fried-to-order eggplant stole the show. If they ever add an eggplant parmigiana entree to the menu, it might just become my go-to spot for it. My dining partner ordered the veggie pizza, which was packed with fresh veggies, and the sturdy crust held up like a champ. We both agreed this isn’t NY pizza, but it’s absolutely fantastic in its own right.
The sauce and cheese stretch all the way to the crust, so there’s no need for extra dipping sauces. Every bite is perfectly balanced. This place leans more toward takeout, but if you choose to dine in, there are plenty of seats available. Bonus points for the free parking in the large lot.
And now for Glinda. She’s the real star of the show. With a name like that, it’s only fitting that she’s as sweet and welcoming as the Good Witch herself. Visiting Singas feels like entering the Emerald City of pizza, and Glinda’s customer service magic will have you clicking your heels, saying, “There’s no place like Singas.”
I’ll be back for more of this pizza perfection and, of course, to see Glinda again. Don’t sleep on this spot. It’s a hidden treasure...
Read moreI was disappointed. I do hope they survive past the first year --good potential to live up to the brand name.
Ordering online --so many ordering options and every one of them lists pricing differently. You'll have to search for which one has the best price.
Fries were hot and crispy --but over done for my liking as they were hollow inside.
Based on photos, I ordered a buffalo wrap. The menu doesn't like what comes on it...so I was a little in the dark. I made a note so sub ranch if there was blue cheese on it. I paid online and left a 15% tip (I call a bribe when it's paid BEFORE the actual service occurs). When the gentleman handed me the bag, he said "oh... I don't have an wraps. And I don't have ranch. (which I also ordered for my fries). I was very dissapointed. He went ahead and made the order so I felt obligated to take it...it was paid for. I shared that had I known they didn't have what I ordered, I would have ordered something else. There was no offer replace my order from Singas. The sandwich is dry and lacks flavor.... :( It will be quite a while until I'm ready to try again..... but maybe one day. Maybe I should have started...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Singas Pizza, and I have to say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the warm atmosphere and friendly staff, led by the amazing Glinda.
The food was nothing short of incredible. The pizza was cooked to perfection, with a crispy crust and the freshest ingredients that made each bite delightful. I particularly loved the variety of toppings available—there's something for everyone! The other items on the menu, like the garlic knots and salads, were also delicious and complemented the pizza perfectly.
But what truly set Singas Pizza apart was the staff. Glinda, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful dining experience. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her genuine enthusiasm for the food made our visit even more enjoyable. It's clear that the team truly cares about their customers and takes pride in what they do.
Overall, if you're looking for a place that offers amazing food and exceptional service, I highly recommend Singas Pizza. I can't wait to return for...
