Just do it. If you want bread this place is the place to go. This place makes hands down the best bread in town (in my crumble opinion) The crumb in this bread is excellent, taste/texture. So regular favorites for me are the Kalamata olive loaf (you end up hunting for salty bits of olive with each bite), the sourdough english muffins (some of the best English muffins I’ve had). I can easily eat a half a country load or an entire baguette in one sitting if I’m not mindful. You can call the day before they’re open (or when they’re at market) and preorder. Read moreA trip from Colorado to North Carolina had me looking for bakeries to visit. I had a list and Verdant was on it, glad it was! I got a baguette at about 9am and it was perfectly warm and ready to enjoy. Walked over to common market bought some hummus and tore into it. Just wish I had time to enjoy more of their bread, can't wait to visit again. Thanks for the bakery suggestions in Asheville, ended up buying "Southern Ground"...
