Family and I stopped here for a quick dinner after a long weekend and as soon as we parked we did not have high expectations. But don't judge a book by it's cover right. Walked in and there were not many people dining in. The server greeted us, after about 60 seconds of looking down scrolling on his cell phone. He showed us to a table, half of us used the restroom, came back and he greeted us again and asked me for our drink order. The bathrooms were disgusting, my boyfriend said the men's restroom smelled like a kitty litter. Last smell you want to smell while eating cheap chinese. When I got to the table, my boyfriend said that he had already gave him our drink order... So the service was a bit off point. The food was sub par at best. Not many options, most of the food had been sitting there for a while. I expected that when I saw how empty it appeared, but after sitting down there were about 7-8 guest dining so the food should of been replenished sooner. The food was also cold and the fruit has seen better days. I would not go back to this buffet or recommend...
Read moreThis is a very nice Chinese Buffet restaurant. The cuisine is pretty authentic Chinese food, with high quality food ingredients, which is a rare find in small towns. Their meat dishes are fresh and of quality cuts. The dishes are surprisingly not 'Chop-sui' types of low sophistication dishes. One of my wife's favorites is their 'Coconut Shrimp' - this is a Southeast Asian themed shrimp dish. Taste analysis, suggests the dish is mainly deep fried breaded shrimps, with coconut/mayonase blend sauce cooked in a stir fried style. The taste gave it a very nice tropical/southeast-Asian feel, and is very very fresh, because you may most likely have to wait for the kitchen to bring more out, as it empties out quick... Yum! It is a buffet restaurant, yet, the service is very good and friendly and home-like, as it is owned by a family. The best news is the price. For all that great food, it is only $8.99 for weekend...
Read moreThis "all-you-can-eat" Chinese food restaurant-style buffet gets Five Stars for its "dine in" buffet. The staff are pleasant, the restaurant is clean, and the portions on the buffet are smaller meaning they are replaced more often with fresh food rather than larger servings sitting there for a lengthier period of time. For approximately $7.14 after taxes (when eating food with water), this is one of the best kept secrets in Charlotte, Michigan. The prices for take out, on the other hand, are pricey; but for the dine-in experience you will be pleased with the choices and the Five-Star service there. There is no competition for healthy eating and "bang for your buck" restaurants in the Charlotte,...
