Jersey Giant Submarines — Restaurant in Charlotte

This is the worst Jersey Giant I have ever went to. They didn't have pickles for the subs, only pickle spears. They were out of chipotle mayo. Our subs were mostly bread, only a very thin layer of meat. The tables were dirty. My husband took a drink of his coke and almost puked. It tasted like burnt plastic. He told one of the workers and they said it was probably a low bag. He didn't give him a new cup and didn't really seem to care that it happened. The girl with the blonde hair and crop top that helped me tonight was very friendly! When I got home and ate the food it was absolutely disgusting. I don't think the lettuce or onions were fresh. I am never going back to this location again. You could get sick from that. Another bad thing is I got a vegetarian sub and they hardly put any cheese on it. I don't understand how it is so expensive with no meat on it but still don't get enough cheese..it doesn't make sense to me and a waste of money..it seems like your only paying for bread, lettuce...

I've been a loyal Jersey Giant fan for years, but I felt inclined to write this review since their prices are now touching the stars. Their prices have increased regularly over time, but this percentage increase is far more than what other sub chains have done. For this reason alone, I won't be coming here as often. As for the food? My latest visit had the bun extremely dry. Kind of felt like eating air actually or needed a dipping sauce or something. Otherwise typically pretty good food.
