I heard so much about this restaurant, so I was excited to try it out. I walked in and wasn't even greeted at all. All the guy did was point to, I guess what was the order yourself register/menu. No instructions on how to use it or nothing. So I just sat there and figured it out. After they received the order he said give me 20 minutes and I will text you when it's ready. We'll 45 minutes went by and I walked back in just to check on my order and I saw my order sitting on the counter. He asked for my name and gave me my order when i walked out, then I got the text. Lol I was starving, so I had ordered the fried mushroom sandwich with fries. I order the fries with lite seasoning well they loaded it down and they were too salty. The sandwich was bland with a soggy tomato ring on it. Nothing to brag about. I understand now that vegan food is very expensive but I won't be coming back for that. Just a big let down. I don't mind supporting black own establishments just at least have stellar customer service? Which is hard to find these days. It Was a very disappointing...

I was just there today for a quick lunch. I had been wanting to try this place for a while. When I placed my order the price was more than I had expected. When I asked about it the gentleman pointed to the sign on the counter that stated something about the price increase due to the supplier. I suggested that maybe the correct prices should be visible in the restaurant. The reason I'm leaving a review is because the gentleman who took my order asked me where was i parked and I pointed to my car that was parked right outside. He said that he would bring it out when it was ready. I had been waiting awhile when two other gentleman came and placed orders waited and got their order brought to them before mine. I waited a little while longer and then I went in to check on my order. When I walked in to check on my order it had been sitting on the counter had the gentleman handed me my order and nonchalantly says sorry about the wait. So by the time I got home my food was not hot. The food tasted ok it's a little overpriced for me with the exception of the chocolate cake it...

Well this is my second time having this wonderful lady cooking, and omg it’s some of the BEST vegan chilli I’ve ever ate. My 4 year old who is NOT a vegan tore this up! We drive two hours from High Point NC to this farmers market location and she does NOT disappoint! She is sweet, friendly, and love sharing samples! This second time around I ordered macaroni and jambalaya, I can’t wait to eat those. She was so sweet to my children she even gave them a free slice of cake. I wish we would have known about her when she was in the restaurant, but for now we will continue to drive for this 💜 The best part is with the chilli I add my 4 year old Ella Olla vitamins in them, and she don’t even know it. The chilli is full of veggies so it’s super good for my daughter 💙 She...

Found Vegan to go a few months ago and have visited a few times. Each time the customer service is excellent and the food has been consistently fresh and delicious. My go-tos are the Mushroom bites(sauce on the side) and the cheeseburger has a great grilled flavor. Really impressed and happy about this restaurant and glad to support a local black owned business. My only disappointment is they do stop serving 30 minutes before close. Which is understandable but it wasnt posted and I drove across town on one of those occasions arriving at 645 and had to be turned away. Had I known I would have placed my order enroute. So just be aware, the crew was apologetic and I've returned at a later time since then and had another great experience. Keep up the amazing Vegan options!

Good vegan option in a landscape of few. We had the chicken sandwich and the fried oyster mushroom sandwich. Both were good, but like everything it is pricey. You know festival pricey! Expect to wait or order online and they will text you when it is ready. There is no place to sit inside and by the looks of the surroundings, you'll probably want to stay in your car, just as we did, while you wait. The side coleslaw and avocado ranch are small and when they are left off one of the two orders, there's not much to share. Didn't know that until we got back to our hotel. Had the sweet potato cake that could've used a bit more moisture. Not sure of the age but it didn't seem overly fresh.

Visiting CLT. I have to be honest. After paying $26.00 ($2.00 tip), I realize that my level of veganism is different. I have had some amazing vegan in NYC, ATL, DC, and VA. I have spent more money on raw vegan.....But it was really good. I love that the owner is offering this vegan cuisine in CLT. Although.......The burger was not worth $12. It was messy and lacked flavor. I’ don’t mind paying .......Again, I am accustomed to paying more in other states but they usually nail it. The lemon pound cake was good but just super sweet. I believe this place is great for CLT. I just wont be returning. The juice green goddess was decent.....
