My wife and I attempted to get dinner here on Friday night. We were driving a large bucket truck that could not fit under the drive-thru or in one of the ordering stalls. When we walked up to the menu under the porch, the girl came out and told us that due to covid we could not eat in their outside dining area. I tried to explain to the girl that We wanted the food to go, and the issue with the truck, but she said that she would not let us order there and the best We could do was pull around in front of the window and tell them what we wanted. So we get back in our truck and pull all the way back around to the window, and she tells us that they literally don't have anything. I'm assuming that she just was irritated with the situation and didn't want to make our meal. She said they didn't have tortillas, bacon, chili or cheese, hamburger buns, or tater tots... I'm not saying that she was a liar, but it seems highly unlikely that they didn't have all of these things. Either way, we left irritated and hungry and we will never be returning. I often wondered what happened to most of the sonics as they have mostly all closed. I'm guessing that like us, people have grown tired of mediocre customer service especially at a more expensive fast food...
Read moreSonic should terminate the franchise agreement with this location. This location is in terrible physical condition and clearly hasn't been maintained in at least 5 years. Everything was very dirty, broken or in otherwise poor condition and appearance. I can't imagine running my business this. Despite the rough appearance, my friend and I decided to give it a chance anyway.
My friend had never been to Sonic before and wanted to try it, so we stopped during our road trip. We were in two separate vehicles, so I pulled into the stall to his left. I pressed the call button, and then realized the screen wasn't working. I waited for over 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me, and I let the order taker know that my screen wasn't working. She told me that a bellhop would come out and take my payment. 10 minutes went by, no one came. 20 minutes went by, no one came. 25 minutes went by, and my friend and I decided to leave. What a waste of time, I'll never be back this location and I will recommend that others avoid it.
Sonic corporate should come out and inspect this location. Seriously, what an embarrassment...

So we went to the tables and pushed the button to order. We stood there at least 5 minutes. No one answered or even acknowledged us. Our friends ordered online while we waited. When we finally decided they were not going to answer, our friends decided to cancel their order so we could go somewhere else. The app said he had to call the restaurant. Amazingly someone actually answered the phone! Then told him they couldn’t cancel it and still didn’t answer the screen. In the meantime we saw at least one other person leave without ordering, we saw one employee outside smoking, then another joined him, one brought out an order and just looked at us like we shouldn’t be there...I love the Sonic in my hometown.
