Let's start by saying there is nowhere to park at this bar. This isn't a restaurant but they are charging restaurant prices. My fiance ordered for us and I was supposed to eat with her on her lunch break. That didn't happen and I'll explain why in a minute. My fiance said it'll be ready by 2:21 p.m.. I'll live right down the road so I left by 2:15. When I pulled up there were 2 or 3 spots to park in out front. Those spots were full so I pulled around to the side and noticed there wasn't any parking available there either. I had to make my own parking spot behind the food truck. This was not a parking spot. I walked around to the front and went in the door and was greeted by a lady who was behind the bar. I told her I was there to pick up a to-go order. She walked to the back and grabbed my food. When she came back I noticed she didn't have any drinks in her hand. I asked her where my drinks were and she said there were no drinks ordered but she could make me some. I said I know she got drinks because she literally just asked me what I wanted before I went and picked up the food. I said the drink should have already been paid for and I'm not buying anymore. She looked at the receipt and lo and behold the drinks were right there on the ticket. She proceeded to make my drinks and then handed them to me. I said thank you and have a nice day. Now I usually always check my order before I leave but I was in a hurry and did not. I looked at the receipt and it was in total $48 and some change. I thought that was expensive for what I had just ordered. I had chicken tenders with tater tots and my fiance had a salad with steak on it. If you take away the $6 tip the plates ended up being $21 a piece. I don't know about anybody else but $21 for tater tots and chicken tenders is very expensive. When I got to my fiance's work I went to the break room and sat down with her to eat. I opened my styrofoam container and was shocked at what I saw. I had six tenders that were dry as a bone and no sauce on them. Instead I had these tiny containers of sauce. One was the cheese that I was charged $2 for that was the size of a fast food sauce packet. It was about half full and nowhere near enough to go over the tater tots. The sauce that was supposed to be on my chicken tenders was in the same size container as what the cheese came in. These tenders were full size chicken tenders. You should have at least gotten four of those containers of sauce to go on your tenders. The containers being half full was ridiculous. You already didn't get enough to begin with. I ate one chicken tender and my container of sauce was already empty. At this point I just closed the container and told my fiance that I would just eat it at the house because I didn't want to eat it dry. We had two drinks that were $3 a piece and after ice and liquid it may have been 8 ounces. I was also supposed to receive a thing of blue cheese and a piece of celery. I didn't get either one. Now on to my fiance's meal. She had a salad with steak and some cold sweet potato fries draped across the top. The salad was of good size and the container of ranch she got was the same as mine (very small / half full). At this point I was very disappointed and upset because of how much we paid for this meal. I normally do not give bad reviews to places that I eat. I have been reviewing food for almost 3 years with Google. Out of the hundreds of places I've eaten I can count on two hands the bad reviews I've given. Things are already expensive enough nowadays so it shouldn't be too much to ask to get what you paid for. I can't speak for my fiance but I will say the quality of my food was just like buying frozen tenders and tots from Walmart. The only difference is I would have made them a lot better. I do know that my fiance only ate half of her salad because there wasn't enough dressing to finish it. Needless to say I will not be returning to this place.

What a disappointment! I do not believe I have ever seen a restaurant go downhill so fast! This used to be somewhere I enjoyed dining. Not anymore! The overall experience only deserves one star, but the half-portion of Ramen I received was very good so I will give it two stars. Unfortunately, a tasty half-portion of Ramen is the only [half] positive remark I have to offer.

We ordered the hummus plate as our appetizer. The bowl of hummus was exactly one-fifth of the way full. Fortunately, the appetizer only came with a small handful of stale unseasoned and unsalted chips along with a couple dry carrot sticks, so at least there was that.

I ordered a Ramen entrée I have ordered on several occasions. The food itself was delicious, but the portion was approximately 50% of any prior Ramen bowl I have ever ordered at this restaurant. Unfortunately, my wife’s portion was identically small. Needless to say, I left hungry after only consuming couple bites of bland hummus and one-half a portion of Ramen.

My real problem, however, was with the lackluster service. My son ordered chicken fingers with tater tots, and the server brought them without any dipping sauce or catchup. My son requested catchup. Several minutes later when it did not arrive, I went upstairs to see what was going on and the server had forgotten. I offered to take the catchup down myself, but he insisted on making us wait even longer so he could bring the bottle to the table, which he [kind of] did.

While the server did admittedly bring ‘a bottle of catchup to the table’, it was unfortunately empty. When I went back upstairs to request another bottle of catchup, the same server acted surprised that I was returning the empty bottle – it was like he thought I forgot he is one that just brought the empty bottle to our table. Pathetic!

We absolutely did not get our money’s worth as it pertains to the food or the service. Overall, it was a very frustrating dining experience. This is truly a shame given the limited number of even halfway decent restaurants on Dayton Boulevard. I will give this restaurant 30 days or so to get its act together and try one more time, but if I have a similar experience then it will be the last time I eat at...

I'm not trying to hate here but I just had my first experience w clvr's food truck and I'm irritated.. please understand, I work 3 pt jobs to barely afford life for my son and myself. I went to the red bank 70th fest mostly to support the community but also just so my son could go a little crazy. Food trucks in my opinion are all overpriced, and rarely do they ever sucker me into buying something, but when I passed clever I noticed there was literally no one there!.. so I felt bad and decided to throw him a little business and buy something small like an ice cream cone, there was even a clear ice cream cone drawing on their chalkboard. I paid $4 and got back a cup, and not even half filled. By the time I got it a little line had formed behind me.. job well done, I thought. The ice was really good, but ofc my son ate most of it. I really wanted some more but $4?? When it came time to pass by again, I noticed some nice family all getting overfilled cups of ice cream! Like easily 4x as much as I got. I had to buy a whole other cup just to call him out on it and they just seemed annoyed. It's a community fest, and you're picking and choosing who to hookup and who to rip off? Is bc I didn't give you a tip for scooping something in a cup, not even a cone like advertised?? Maybe it's bc of my tattoos? Who knows??? One thing I do know for sure tho is that I really wish I didn't have to worry about getting taken advantage of by the establishments I choose to give my business to. Being ripped off like that is honestly worse than you just being rude to me, bc now you're robbing me of my opportunity to afford something better. .. rip...
