Don’t be like me, PLEASE CHECK THE DOLL PARTS THOROUGHLY BEFORE PURCHASING!

I visited here on a trip, mostly because I noticed they had interesting doll heads and parts in photos. When I picked mine out, I thought they looked a little rough (I actually liked the grungy look), but wasn’t concerned about mold or mildew thinking that they wouldn’t be selling it if that were the case.

I did notice they smelled a bit musty, but also chalked it up to probably not being cleaned or just that usual antique smell. It wasn’t until I got back home in Alabama that I realized just how funky the smell of all the doll parts were, now that I was smelling them away from the antique store. And when I took a closer look, I started spotting possible mold over all 3 doll parts I purchased.

I’m doing my best to clean them, but still not even certain I can keep any of them, they smell awful and I’m not even sure that the possible mold on them can be killed. I do think if this is mold on the doll head, the owner’s of this store should really quality check their doll...

Lots of interesting items but a majority of the price points were ridiculous. I know that the prices are set by each booth owner but some of these people are delusional with their pricing. I have seen items that I have purchased in other antique stores or yard sales going for 3 or 4 times what I paid. Just because something is old, doesnt mean its worth a high price tag- especially if its not unique, hard to find, or in good condition.

On the plus side, the staff is wonderful and helpful and always cheery. The space itself is large and you can spend a lot of time digging and exploring. Very large selection of old books and even crafts/art from local artists.

*edit, I feel like I need to state that some booths are priced fairly, not every single booth is overpriced. You can find good stuff, but that means dropping by frequently! I definitely have favorite booths that I visit frequently and I usually leave...

Title: A TreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Dirty Jane's Antiques, and I can confidently say it was a fantastic experience! What a great find! The store is a true gem, overflowing with an impressive array of vintage items that cater to every taste and style.

From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the charming atmosphere and the sheer variety of unique pieces on display. Each corner reveals more hidden treasures, and I found myself exploring for hours! The prices are incredibly reasonable, making it easy to take home a piece of nostalgia without breaking the bank.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to share stories about the items and help with any questions. If you’re a vintage lover or just looking for something special, I highly recommend Dirty Jane's Antiques. You won't be...

I love walking around and experiencing the different era's of products that are on display. Everytime I go I end up leaving with the coolest stuff. I found a vintage bowling ball bag, multiple KY Derby glasses, which I collect because I was born and raised in Louisville, vintage records, milk glass lamps, and so much more. There is something here for everyone of all ages. They have custom signs, books, furniture, stained glass, jewelry, clothes, vintage decorations, tons of antique glass, collectable postcards and stamps, vintage magazines for adults and kids, vintage signs and metal cans, metal artwork, and basically all the stuff you haven't seen since you were a kid. I love going to Dirty Jane's antiques. You never know what surprise you are going to find.
