I sit and ask myself why I would even bother posting this. It's fast food. Duh of course we, as a society, have given up any semblance of quality in favor of getting it 5 minutes ago, yo! No I am not some pretentious elite. I am a southern redneck raised on the poor side of the tracks, albeit close enough that my family and I have frequently worked hard enough to live on the good side of the tracks. I say all of this because I am tired of being lied to and treated like my patronage is an inconvenience to the drive through establishments I visit. I just visited this particular McDonald's and ordered Chicken McNuggets, when asked what sauce I wanted, i said, "Sweet and Sour Please". At the window as they handed my bag of food out the window, I asked the young fellow, "Are there two sauces in the bag?". He assured me they were in the bottom of the bag. I sat there and emptied the bag, showed him what was left in the bottom of the bag along with the food that i was holding up beside the bag and he left his window closed until he realized I wasn't leaving. He opened and asked what he could do for me, "yes, I would like the second sauce I asked for please". Who cares right? I ultimately obtained what I asked for. The issue is, I have yet to go to a single McDonald's in the last 20 years that has not screwed up my order some way some how. Yes, I also get that it is now somehow offensive to be intellectual in this country and we now find it cooler to eat Tide Pods. So this review should simply close with the strongest of advice I can give anyone visiting any fast food establishment in America....once you arrive at the window, stay until you are handed your food, do not "pull forward please", because you will have to exit your car for the order you could have walked into the establishment to begin with, stay at the window and when your bag arrives, sit there and empty it, all of it, open your burger, if you asked for cheese, make sure it is there, if they expect you to eat without napkins or drink without straws, ask for these items. Do not leave the window until you have your complete meal with all you expect to receive. Trust me, if they lie to your face about how many sauces they put in your bag, why should you care about their drive through...
Read moreI go there on a Friday it’s lunch rush. I have to place two orders because I’m picking up orders for a few coworkers. I try to go inside to use the kiosks because I know it’s inconvenient to do it through the drive thru. It’s locked, no biggie I guess the line it is. I order and have to pay at the 2nd window. The lady at the window is what the problem is (young black women with faded blue or green hair, I didn’t get her name honestly don’t even think she was wearing a name tag) I pay for one order and then the other I forgot to use a coupon so I asked if I could do it(I know this is annoying I was trying to be nice and asked and was understanding when she called over another person when she didn’t know how) that’s sorted and I pay. She hands me the food (both orders in one bag) I ask if I could get some extra sauce cause I forgot to ask for some one else in the group wanted some. She snapped at me and said it’s in the bag. I said I know I just need extra. Again snapped at me “it’s in the bag”. I go I understand I’m trying to grab extra for another person. Finally huffed and puffed stomped off muttering under her breath the whole way and grabbed me one extra sauce… like the attitude wasn’t needed, it’s sauce that McDonalds doesn’t charge for when you order extra and it wasn’t coming out of her paycheck. Just so unnecessary. There’s other McDonald’s in the area maybe avoid this one. Edit: I’ve taken this to the official McD website as well. I’ve worked at McDonald’s would have never treated someone this way...
Read moreAbsolutely rude staff! I will not be back and I will encourage everyone I know to drive the extra 4 minutes to the highway 153 location. The woman at the first window stood there inside and never provided me with my receipt from my online order. Then after I waited several minutes and the vehicles in front of me were gone, I finally gave up on the receipt and moved to window 2. When pulling to 2 the woman from window 1 then opened the window and threw her hands up at me as if I had somehow offended her for her ignoring me as a customer. Then I got to window 2. The woman there began to argue with me about whether I was a drive thru customer or a curbside one even though she acknowledged by reading her screen where it said my order was drive thru she still argued with me about it . When I expressed my frustration with the rudeness of her and the other employee, I told I her I would not likely return because it seemed that working there required a person to be rude and unprofessional she just said “ok, I don’t care”. Then I pulled away only to discover my order was completely wrong. The level of rudeness, incompetence, and lack of customer care is absolutely mind boggling. Stay away! There are plenty of other places to eat crappy food but at least get...
