I Love this. And because I love it I am forced to rewrite my review. My family and I spend over $500 per month at this burrito place. However we will no longer be eating at this burrito place. The short Hispanic kid named habanero is highly rude and racist. No matter how many times my family and I come in to purchase food here he Snickers he laughs at us and he begins talking to his coworkers in Spanish about us and have them all looking up at us. We don't know who he is nor have we ever done anything to hurt him in any way but his behavior is highly rude unprofessional and extreme racism at best. We were hoping that if we switch locations and went to the other Mr burrito on Martin Luther King boulevard this behavior would be different. However when we got to that Mr burrito it was highly dirty and at this point I feel prompt to call the health department because there has been a major turnover and staff this place is not what it used to be. Highly racist towards black people. Speaks Spanish and laughs in your face then passes your burrito to the back. And God knows what is being said before your burrito is passed back to you. Buyers beware. The short Hispanic Mexican kid is racist and gives this entire business a bad look and a bad name. I will no longer be spending money here to write his paycheck to promote this type of behavior in our...
Read moreMr. Burrito II is located on the corner of Martin Road and Dayton Blvd. Old timers may remember the old Esquire Cleaners located there and, later, a Vietnamese restaurant. Someone told me it was most recently a "home cooking" restaurant but I was never here during that part of the building's past. On 12/28/21, I went inside and placed a take-out order. First off, the place is spotless. The few tables they have are spaced well apart. Their system is like a Subway or Salsarita's where you choose the vehicle for your entree (Burritos, Nachos, Tortilla Bowl, Tacos, Salad, or Quesadilla) and then choose toppings to go on or in it.. But the comparison ends there. Mr Burrito II offers you a choice of eight meats, three different beans, five salsas, several cheeses, and about 15 other toppings, all of which look and taste amazing. I ordered three Tortilla bowl entrees with different meats and the total, with tax was a little over $27. When I got the food home, everyone raved about how good it was. I can't wait to try some of their other options. I completely forgot to ask about tamales but, if they have them, I will certainly be trying those as well. Red Bank has long had a shortage of good restaurants and I hope this one will be...
Read moreFirst off, I love Mr Burrito. They have great food, but their online ordering is awful and the service is even worse now. I ordered online and they didn't add half the thing in the order, when I called to get a replacement they added WAY too much of the red spicy salsa out of spite making it inedible. They did this to a customer that has gone down to an ATM just to get money to pay them when their card reader was down even though I already had my food and could have just driven off. Bottom line: just drive off. At the very least go to the...
