Grand China is a nice little place with good food and friendly service. I've been visiting since before they moved to their current Dayton location and will continue to do so whenever I get the chance. Lunch specials are filling and cheap (only $5) but I tend to order the dinner portions, which are enough to last two meals for me. My usuals are the Sesame Chicken, Beef & Broccoli, and Singapore Mei Fun, all of which have never disappointed. Staff is always friendly and helpful and usually find the opportunity to catch-up with regulars, which to me, is always a good sign for an establishment.

Just ordered here for the first time. Fried rice was musty, tasted and smelled like it has been reheated for the past three days. Chicken Lo Mein had an unexpected chemical spicy flavor, the chicken in the Lo Mein was flavorless and gelatness, unlike any chicken i’ve ever had. Stopped eating those dishes after the first bite. The General Tso’s Chicken on the other hand was quite good. Similar to Panda Express Orange Chicken, sweet, not spicy unlike the woman at the counter told me. I’m not one to throw away food, but out of concern, I could not eat the fried rice or Chicken Lo Mein.

I moved to Red Bank in Feb 2023, and tried all the local places to eat. Did not take long to find that for consistently deliciously prepared, quality food, I should choose Grand China. I never have been disappointed. Today tried Twice Fried Pork - great tasting dish. Best, the prices are so reasonable! Only 4 points for atmosphere, I always takeaway, but have seen people happily eating here.

Have been ordering from Emma and Grand China for over 10 years. My personal fave is Egg fu Yung house special. I always get house fried rice as well, wife loves her lo mein noodles and Kung Pao chicken. Egg rolls are hot, fresh and crispy. Today I ordered General Tso, perfect blend of spicy w hint of sweet to offset. Love this place can't go wrong with whatever you order. We absolutely love this place and NEVER GET CHEATED ON PORTION SIZES. we always get two to three meals out of an order. It's reassuring yet rare nowadays for expectations to be over met, but this. Is that rare spot. Since we moved to Soddy it is a bit harder to order but my wife and I still do maybe once every other month. We have Never been disappointed by service or amount of food provided. Plus Emma the owner is incredibly sweet and makes us feel special every time we order from them. Granted this is Americanized Chinese Food you are getting in. Red Bank TN. So folks should understand that first, however that being said, this place is light years ahead of any other Chinese restaurant in the area that claims to be a. Competitor. IMHO no one comes close to providing what is expected at a Chines restaurant here in Chattanooga. Order and make sure to tell Emma...

Service: Courtney is always friendly and welcoming always love talking with her while waiting for food. Honda Fit Man is the To-Go guy and is very friendly aswell and loves talking about Honda Fits especially if you got one as well! (Maybe other cars too). There is one bald guy with glasses that I’ve seen once, not sure if it was a bad day or something but geez only time I came in with him he seemed very short with me and others as well as not really happy to be there, huffing and talking under his breath n such.

Food: Now I ain’t no foodematician but I think this is some delicious Chinese food and the portions I believe are great. My wife and I can eat a Large portion with left-overs for one of us the next day (Whoever wins the armwrestling match).

Price: I mean it’s pretty good, as stated before my wife and I can eat a Large portion with left overs and its only 7.5somethin’ plus tax n such. Lunch special (M-F 11-3:30) is only 4.99 and its a little smaller portion but still gets the job done for us. I do se other talk about the delivery price, and I don’t think I’ll be doing delivery if...

I placed an online order (through a 3rd party app online I and THEY don't know about apparently). I didnt know there was a 15 dollar subtotal minimum before i began to order first of all, but i thought "eh, its cool." I ordered the curry chicken with NO VEGGIES, fried rice, fried donuts, and a couple of beverages. it took an hour for my delivery to get to me, and the order was wrong. even on the online order they have a place for notes or instructions and i put " no veggies " and it seems to me like they made it with EXTRA veggies. lmaoo..so i called to let them know and the hostess asked the cook about the order and he "has a very good memory" on what he cooks so they said my order wasnt wrong. after paying 23 dollars and change for something im not gonna eat they argued on the phone with my purchase and said that i could bring the meal the next day and hash it out. i was hung up on twice as well. i could go on but it seems to me that they dont really care. wish i could...
